I like this photo because of its tonal qualities. The diverse texture of the building is really awesome. The frontal shot and centering contribute to the shot. This looks like a place where something in Reservoir Dogs might occur.

An enterprising entrepreneur converted a schoolbus into a mobile gym
so she could travel to preschools and private schools to teach
gymnastics to little kids. I like this shot's perspective because
the colors are bright and the lines converge from right to left.
Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Colors caught my eye. Hope they catch yours. Please tell me what you
see.

I like your changes. You have a good imagination. By the way, I picked up a book that tells how to replace "bad sky" using Photoshop Elements. I will post my repair job when I have time. Until then adios :)

I like the shapes in this photo. You might crop the right side a little. Where is this?

Dear Mr. Frecknall,
You gave me the kind of critique that I desire. You explanation was clear and to the point. I will apply what you said about metering next time that I get such an opportunity. Thanks again. ~Jason

I saw this boat in backwaters of the Brazilian Amazon with a
disposable camera. How can I make the sky in the upper right corner
blue?
-
How could this be improved? Perhaps it should be cropped into a
vertical format. What do you think?

Perfect parody of paparazzi. I love how happy they all look to be taking this guy's picture, while he is so cool. Nice capture. I also like how the B&W keeps this shot from being too busy. Finally, the crop is great, with the concrete corner adding weight to the shot, while the street sign gives viewers a sense of place, but the arrow is pointing at the subject. You have a great eye.

Interesting tones. The texture of the hat contrast nicely with her skin.

I like the composition, especially the shadow. However, I wonder if you could have increased the exposure time and decreased the aperature to make the candles less blown out and turn them into starlights. Otherwise bravo.

The photo and the words make this a special post. Congratulations.

This shot works on so many levels. I hope you made a large print for your wall.

This photo tells an interesting story. I like the lines and patterns created by the washtubs and hanging clothes, but I would be tempted to make the diagonal come out of the corner of the picture. I also like how the sky in the background seems to be filled with steam. Great story telling shot.

Comments welcome. Thank you.

Is it true, that where there is one, there are more? Scary.

An original shot, but I wonder how you could make the babies easier to see?

Cool composition: I like how you blurred the ground, how her shoes echo her shirt, and how her blue jean outfit matches her eyes. All this with the shock of red hair make this a neat picture that would make it a great album cover. On yeah, the words on her chest and perspective from above make this ironic too.

You got the lighting quite right and the her pose as well as her crop accentuates her face. Wonderful.

How could this photo be improved. Thanks?

Two friends shopping, a fairly common experience. Just the right DoF for a simple slice of life shot.
