Wanted - suggestions for improvement. As always, I will reciprocate.

Taken at the 150th Indiana State Fair. Any advice on how to improve?

Nice shot! I love the star effect, but wonder how you might lighten or make the darker parts of the photo more interesting. Keep shooting.

The grain of the dark wood contrast nicely with white dishes and silver tableware, but their place in the frame could be more dynamic. Perhaps at an angle. Nice try.

I also like how the window frames the scene. I would like a more dramatic sky and a person on the railing would add human interest to the composition. If you get another chance, I hope you take a similar picture in the yard or at a stop.

I love the lighting and the slice of the bridge. A little more detail in the mountains might or might not help, but I really like the light on the calm water.

Macro and photoshopped image of birch tree bark. Correct? I gonna try something like this today. How did you get the colors so vivid?

I like how the sweater is sharper than his face, especially the zipper's teeth. He also has a wonderful expression. The white light actually works, usually I don't like such highlights. However, what really makes this shot work is his eyes! I don't rate photos anymore, but in this case I shall.

Graduation photo of a student who took classes from me for my first

4 years as a professor at our college. I wonder what his future

holds? I wonder if I taught him anything that he will use? Comments

When I look at this photo, my imagination puts fans in the stands.

What about you?

Yes, those are the boy's father and mother in the picture. The kid

decided to do somersault off the stands, just as I pushed the button.

Everyone was fine, although I love the expression on Dad's face. Hope

this makes you laugh.

If I get another chance, I'll ask her to turn sideways and maybe turn the camera. Thanks again for the comments, I will return the favor as soon as possible.

Walked into a bar to meet an old teacher and saw a former student, so

I took her picture. I like how the slightly out of focus bottles

frame her, but feel that I still failed to capture her true beauty.

I like how you play with colors, focus, shape, and texture in this shot. Inspires me to think of variations on this theme.

Interesting shot. I like how the grey openings complement the black and white outfit which in turn complements her skin tones. The pose looks a little contrived. Why are her feet in the air like that? I like the off camera glance, as if someone has surprised her in her secret thinking place. Overall nice shot.

Yes. That second photo seems to pop on my monitor. The texture of the bricks comes out more. Nice.

Innocence of the child playing with a toy contrast with that toy

being a replica of a military aircraft.

Love the composition. You really do a good job of displaying the whole by presenting a part. I also like the golden colors of the lights. Interesting how my mind completes the picture outside the frame.

I like the shapes and colors too, but the contrast could be stronger and texture brought out more via Photoshop.

Wonderful. Could you say anymore about how you accomplished such a great shot.
