There is a mixed message here somewhere. Selective breeding increase ability to feed lots of people more and more cheaply, but also reduced genetic diversity and resistance to various pathologies. Interesting how your biology expresses itself in your photos.

He was sad that he had no shoes, until he met a man with no feet.
An evocative, somewhat disturbing photo. It raises questions, but what are the answers?

Seriously. My grandmother would cook several gallons of sauce from scratch. My grandfather would hollow out an old refrigerator and put a metal grate on top. My father and his 2 brothers would man the grill in shifts adding a whole bag of charcoal every few hours. Brings back memories. Everyone but my dad is dead now.
My wife is from Houston, so now my best barbecue comes from the Goode Company.
As for your photo, way to frame the sign with the sidewalk and I love the reddish reflections from the signs on the bushes and trees. Nice capture!

Perfect for a scarf add. However, I think that the texture of the skin on her face looks a little rough. Otherwise, it has a nice pose and tonal contrast.

I like how you framed this woman. The black and white also downplays any garishness and highlights shapes, textures, and patterns. I plan to visit Rio next January (for the second time) and this really increased my anticipation. Thanks.

Cities look so nice without people.

New school logo designed by a former student.

I like the composition, but wish that she was looking forward like he is. The whole shot should be more in focus and remove the dipples from the background. Nonetheless, I like the people and the texture of the pole.

Interesting tonal range, but I would like to see the whipped cream piled higher. Still could be an appealing advertisement shot. Keep shooting.

I'll try to get back for the shot you suggest.

I like it. Do you?

Might try to enhance the light and contrast in photoshop, but I like the placement of people in the shot, except except for the person in back of the guy wearing the baseball cap. Interesting how the man in the foreground kind of jumps out after looking for awhile. Nice shot.

I don't like the title because I can see his other foot, but I love the simplicity of this shot. If you are truly a beginner, you are a natural talent.

Maybe she is in training and he is her coach? Interesting how the sun glints on the waves and the boat sits so low in the water. Great capture!

It was a cold rainy Sunday morning and I needed a haircut, but this
shop was shut so I remained wet and woolly. Every shot has a story.

A fine art image with a real message. Well done!

I have been working on a similar idea with telephone lines in my area. You really did a nice job. Congratulations.

I will be sending it to them soon. I wonder what they will say?

Humans come in so many varieties, which helps to make photography so much fun.

This is my most popular photograph. If only I had moved that chair beforehand.

I like the play of light and shadow as well as the perspective, but
wish that I had a glint of light in her eyes. Please let me know
what you think.
