  1. Close to Bresson, but the people look too small, and there is no decisive moment (no action is about to happen, is happening, or has just happened). I want to be Bresson too, and you are a lot closer to him than me. Keep shooting.

Thanks. This was a found, rather than a setup photograph, that I took on the street. I just cropped it and coverted it to black and white. I may try to pose it better now.
  2. Thanks. I was on a moving bus when I saw this person, which is why the feet are missing. I will try cropping the tree and wall, but I was trying to frame her or him (pretty sure this is a transgendered individual).

Nice composition. Like how we see the shadow of what they see, but don't know if the car adds much to the photo. What happens if you crop straight across just above the car hood? You lose one man's vest, but none of the shadow.

Sorry. I was unclear. How about cropping this shot just above her armpit, and maybe closer to her nose to keep the portrait frame. Just brainstorming here.

I like her static pose. She looks like she is waiting for the viewer, who is approaching. The looks a little washed out, but you may be able to fix this in photoshop with the levels adjustment. Try cropping around the model, stairs, and a little less background, but not too much as this is a wonderful setting.

Nice story telling shot. A little girl looking out the window for something or someone. Wonderful lighting and profile. Would make a great stock photo or image for the family album.
