  1. Is there any viewfinders that I can use with my Toyo 45AX?

Is it possible to use Linhof Master Technika viewfinders with Toyo?

It doesnt have to be dead accurate but to give you an idea about the scene

without looking at the ground glass at first?

  2. well, the original fresnel screen is ok for daytime but for nite time its a pain in the neck to focus. i spoke to jim from mpex and he told me the maxwell is the best. i think i will get it , cause its something very important. for $250 i dont want to risk my pics. thanks.
  3. I just got a Toyo 45ax and was wondering if anybody has used maxwell screen

for toyo 45ax? I would like to know if there are any improvements compared to

    its original fresnel screen?

i mostly do night time photography and need the most bright screen in the

    world. thanks.

  4. no matter what the distance of the subject(lets say 5 meters or 100 meters), at the same f stop, lets say f 22, the hyperfocal distance is always same which is 10.1 meters to infinity. thats what the table shows.

so if i will use f22 all the time, i know that the hyperfocal distance is always starts from 10.1 meters to infinity. or am i doing something wrong here?

  5. thanks michael and all. i prefer metal cameras so i dont know if the ebonys mentioned above are metal.

the focal lenghts i will use 90mm 150mm, 400mm or longer up to 720mm.

and yes, nite time foucing is hell of a challenge. i definitley need a reflex accessory, which i hiope i can find it and a super bright screen?.

    what about sinar f2?

  6. Hi all,

I just rent a Linhof Master Technika for the weekend and I found it difficult

to do movements with this camera.

So I decided to go with a view camera. What would be the lightweight view

camera to do night time shooting outdoors?(buildings, landscape etc)
