how do you do the screen capture while a dvd is playing on the screen?
-
Is there any special technique for this?
I would like to shoot from my laptops LCD screen some stills of DVD movies? Or
from a TV screen?
I would like to get the best quality possible?
I can shoot both digital or film? Just want to capture the best quality?
Thanks in advance.

actually i would like to sell some of my equipment. so its good to sell a store in europe rather than in US. you gain some money because of the currency.

thank you so much. i couldnt find this information otherwise.

I would like to make big prints as mcuh as I can. I was wondering if you know
any labs which has lightjet 500xl? As far as I know this printer is the only
one which makes the biggest print in one piece?

Diego, I appreciate the info. One more thing, do you think I can find infrared films in Milano?
-
thanks for the answers. one more quick question,
what is the difference btw using a infrared film and a infrared filter? will i get the same results?
-
I have no clue about infrared films but I would like to try them in nite time
shootings?
I normally use Mamiya RZ 67 and shoot city scenes. I shot at f11 60sec with
100asa film.
What would be the difference with infrared films?
And what kind of effect I can see with black and white and color Infrared films?

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

In terms of grain, contrast, saturation and low light conditions how do these
films compare? besides the price.
(fuji costs $20 less for 20 pack)

marc, i always shoot at the infinity.(both focus and floating element) since i am far away from the catwalk its not a problem for me. to be honest i dont think you will se the difference much even the floating element is not on the right distance for street work. the lens is already wide so in wide angle shots i dont think you can see the difference.

I would like to know if i can freeze the fast walking model on a runway at
1/125sec f4.5 with 800asa film.
i will be shooting from far away in order to include everything in the frame.
(viewers, catwalk etc)
Is it possible to freeze the model at 1/125sec? i will be shooting from side of
the catwalk.
-
i am using a very wide angle lens(50mm lens on mamiya rz67) and i would like to shoot everything including the viewers. but my main focus will be on the model and i need that very sharp since i will blow up the pics to 50"x70" at least.
besides all that math dont you guys think i cant freeze the model at 1/125sec since its a very wide angle and even though i will blow up the pics the models will still be very small int he whole frame?

I was wondering what is the crop factor of any digital back in the market when
you use it with Contax 645?
I m planning to use wide angle lenses as well as normal and telephoto.

How is the distortion on this lens?
Do you think it can compete with a rangefinder wide angle lens like Mamiya 7II
with 43mm lens?
They say rangefinders perform better in wide angle photography.

Hi,
I will be shooting some fashion shows with available light (no flash) and was
wondering if 1/60 is enough to get a sharp picture of a runway model which
walks fast. I will be shooting from the side!. NOt from the front. Thanks.

how does these compare,
Pentax 67 with 45mm
Mamiya 7II with 43mm
Contax 645 with 35mm

ok i press the screen capture button and opened it up on windows paint. it just shows a black screen. not the image on the dvd.
besides that the resolution will be very low. i would like to make very big prints.
