thanks very much. appreciate the info.

you think ther are less grainy than kodak portra series.?
-
I am looking for the possible least grain color print film and was wondering
what are the options in the market in 160asa and 400asa?
-
well he shoots with point and shoot contax cameras with using the pop up
flashes of the cameras. nothing special about the technique.
his context of his photographs makes him famous or whatever.

Why most fashion portfolios are 11x14?
I do shoot 6x7 and 35mm and trying to put a book together but for the
differences of the negative size ratios it looks really difficult unless you print
them with white borders?(to fill the sleeves)
If I want to print full frame of my 6x7 negative, 11x14 vertically ok but how
about if i want to print double page which is 22x14 and i have to crop a lot of
negative to fit that size?
-
it looks like there is not much difference in 11"x14" size. i dont think its worthed for all that hassle to change the format.(for 11x14prints of course) .
in which size 4x5lf will show its size advantages? 16"x20"?
-
here we go. there are 2 guys saying you definitely see the difference and another two says no you wont. and even 6x7 will be sharper if i use a old model 4x5 lens.
anybody has a sample image? or any website comparing it visually?
-
Is DOF always shallow with 4x5 cameras? and why? what about if I want a clear dof?
-
I use RZ 67 and want to try LF 4x5 to see the difference.
My question is, lets say I shoot the same scene with both cameras.
And I enlarge the pic to 11"x14" size. Will I see the difference?
Considering same focal lenghts and etc.
And if yes, the only difference is the resolution? or there are some
other things which you cant exactly explain when you see a 4x5 shot?
-
I currently use medium format but would like to give a shot to large
format(4x5) at the easiest, cheapest and compact way.
How do you focus with RF Crown graphic or speed models? Can you get a
very accurate focus?

The price difference is $1900. Is it really worthed for a new model?
Am I missing a specific feature which 7B doesnt have?

I am in your position though. I am trying to find a good system to start and built up on it later on.
In my situation, the most important thing is to be PORTABLE and to shoot outdoors day time or nite time. So my first option according to my research will be battery powered strobe lighting. In this category you dont have much choice,
Profoto 7B2 (the most current model) which is about $4862 in B&H(NY) and it doesnt come with a head or any accessories.
Profoto 7B is $2994 and I think it includes 1 head or something.
Broncolor Mobil 1200W/S Travel Kit is $3098 which comes with 1 Flash Head(1600W/S) Power pack,Battery, Charger and case.
Hensel Porty Premium 1200AS Kit is $2968
Elinchrom Ranger RX 1100W/S Power pack kit is $2617
These are the good portable light options which you can use also indoors with AC power. (At least this is what I came up with my research).
If you need a little feedback for HMI lights, I used Jokerbug HMI 200W and liked it very much. ALthough the power is very low since its 200w , if I had the money I would start building my sytem with 400w HMI and buy the rest later on.
Thats it from me now.

What is the power options for tungsten lights to use them outside if
you dont have an access to mains?
-
can I use this dynalite power system for ac with every AC head like profoto or broncolor monoheads?
-
What kind of power options available for monolights?ex. compact plus
600 profoto
-
What kind of power options for this kit to use outdoors? Can I use
profoto 7B battery with these heads?
B&H in NY sells this kit but in the kit there is no power option for
outdoors?
Profoto 7B and compact 300 for fashion photography

For indoor and outdoor use, do you guys think this is a good lighting kit?
or i should go for acute 2r and profot 7b which is more expensive ?
any other combinations are welcome.
