Fact is, I got up and got on the computer around 50 minutes ago. Quite the mess. I have hundreds of spam reports. Just opening then and switching back and forth from email to the site a lengthy task that I can't even contemplate, so I just waded in and took out all I could see. I will continue to clean up.
I used the equivalent in film days, slipped going up Castle Hill in Edenborough. Banged two Nikons together. The ELW bears a dent to this day. The new ones seem well designed, but I usually want more than just 2 cameras.
The very few resources available are fully deployed to keep the site as usable and pleasant as possible. It remains to be seen if more will be added. Best case at this point, reserve judgment and go with the flow or take a vacation and revisit after a period of your choosing.
Unfortunately, what was done is done and as stated previously, there is no going back. I cannot speak for the owners but my understanding is that they chose to use a familiar platform.
Unfortunately, that has been the case for a long time. There is, however, wonderful expertise and knowledge among the members. Just sometimes takes a while for the right individual to see a post.
My experience, U.S. Mountain time, is that it is sporadic, but occasionally fairly heavy. There is sometimes a little lag between deletion of the spammer and disappearance of the spam. I check in frequently in the course of most days.
I don't pay a lot of attention to nudes, and frankly, they should be as they were on the Photo.net of yore, but so far, that hasn't been possible. If some are Spam, please report them.
In the top bar, click on Member Albums / Add Images / Create and on from there. At this point in time you can only add images from your computer, once added, deleting is problematic. Images cannot be moved from Album to Gallery or vice versa. Images can be moved from Images to either place. Limitations of the platform will be difficult to overcome. I would not invest a lot of time and effort in creating albums.
This info is all on the Site Help Board.
Wondered what the story on this was, as it is not only here in great quantity but on other interest sites as well. Apparently Phishing, and not airline driven at all. Just an FYI.
