  1. quite an interesting shot. i would have taken this just a few moments before so from the viewer's perspective, the man was just to the left of the barn. that way, the man could be on the lower left, the barn/silo on the upper right instead of a vertical placement as currently exists. also, i might have taken the shot from a bit lower perspective as well, thus including the legs and even the feet (though that to me doesn't matter as much). i definitely like the time of day u shot this as well as the narrow DOF.

i like your setup here - the dark blue water versus the rust colored rock with good lighting. only issue i have is that the focusing/compression/sharpening make the buildings/coastline look soft.

cool image. too bad we cant see the face of the girl on right. even though the other commenter states its a bit overworked, i think it has an air of timeless nostalgia to it.

outstanding shot here! how did you do the IR(?) conversion? i agree with the other commenter about the stick sticking (that's what sticks do) out of the cactus. i hope you have a nice 20x16 printed of this!

very effective portrait - good lighting and composition. the only minor suggestion i have is cloning out the change in wall color on the far left side - no need to call attention to it. or you could just crop it off, thought that might be a tad too close to the watch/wrist.

i think he's sleeping! i would perhaps crop a bit more tightly about him, especially at the top, even though it wont stay as much in the "traditional" size.

i like the composition and the lighting in this shot save for the man's face in the foreground. i would like to see a few more details and more light there. if you have PS CS, perhaps using the shadow/highlights tool on the face might help. other than that, this shot works quite well.

good portrait! too bad your subject doesn't open her eyes a tad more. the red/orange dress complements the background quite well.

extremely vivid colors! i love the joy and excitement presented here (and i am usually not a big fan of kids as my friends will atest to!). the bubbles add the final touch of connection amongst the figures. i like your "rough" framing border at the top, though i think you cut off a few of the kid's fingertips (the one who's back is to the viewer). or, maybe they are there, but too faint and blend in with the white framing.
