jeff, i see the one you are talking about now. btw, love the stuff in your folder!
-
jeff, i didnt see your other version of this shot in your folder. to me, the mid ground lighting isn't that big of a deal. i hope you dont mind me taking the liberty of doing this, but when i saw this pic, this is what it was saying to me.
-
good subject and composition. to me, this shot is YELLING to be converted to black/white. another interesting vantage point would be taking the shot from more of an angle instead of straighton. that would also be interesting i think. good job!
-
can you imagine running a marathon in those things? perhaps a bit more contrast in the shot would make it a bit "darker".
-
another original egg shot! i like it! is it me or does the focusing seem a bit soft?
-
good toning contrast here!
-
interesting cups, but i dont quite see a plane of focus on the right cup - is it down by the cherry on the left? i think to show the artwork of the cups, perhaps a tad more DOF might be needed. also, please resize according to PN guidelines.
-
b/w - black and white... that's what i'd like to see this in also (not bigger ;) it's already huge (the pixel size that is)! sorry if i was not clear and assumed that abbreviation was universally known. my apologies.
-
wow, what great shades of blue/green! i'd even crop out the yellow flame(?) from below.
-
this certainly looks spooky! very good capture!
-
please resize appropriately. i would also crop out some of the rock formations in the foreground on the left - it is a bit distracting even though it's OOF. good subject!
-
i like the look. i wish my school had such a great woman:men ratio!
-
good vantage point. the image looks a bit fuzzy/filmy as if there's some film over the lens or maybe a tad overexposed? or maybe its my LCD monitor.
-
nice colors! i'd maybe crank up the saturation a tad more.
-
-
even more amazing when first seeing the original! you have some great talent there! thanks for posting your process.
-
i'm fairly new to this stuff also. i highly recommend the black white plugin from this site
- some very useful stuff. good luck!
-
i think the subject material/timing is good. looks like a bit too much flash, though - those guys are cooked!
-
now that's a long picture! how about a b/w conversion?
-
looks like one of the hairpin turns in the james bond movies!
-
my eyes were having a tough time climing that hill!
-
great capture with very interesting post processing! please be kind enough to share the digital processing details. one of the best homeless pics i've seen!
-
great colors.

great desolate shot! too bad the curve with the people is to the right and not the other way. thus, we can't see their shadow and since they are sooooo far away, i had to really peer at my screen to even notice them. mother nature isn't always cooperative! once again, very good shot! btw, i also prefer this crop.
