Mitchell, this is stunning. The use of wide angle (I think) and the wonderful fade into white both emphasize the feeling of height and grandeur. I suspect you planned all this, and it's not mere luck. Bravo,

Lovely and skillful shot, Giangiorgio. For me it mixes both the warmth of the setting sun, the serenity of the scene, and even an element of humour - these impossibly long legs walking on water. Lovely.
Buongiorno Giangiorgio - so nice to have opportunity to chat again with the guru of bird photographers. Yes, this is a focus stack of 12 images. The stem on the flower is only ~ 1.5mm in diameter. I used a program called Helicon Remote to focus the camera and another called Helicon Focus to merge the 12 images. I'm glad you liked it, it was a lot of work, but I was pleased with it too. A little different from your fabulous bird work.
