    sands of yesterday

    Very fine composition, Richard. Kudos.
  2. Scott - I love the detail, the clarity, and the combination of colours - white snow and red berries. Just lovely. Kudos. Happy New Year, Peter.

  7. Still happening Tuhin. Happened to me over the last few days. I emailed PN. No reply to the email so far, but at least my photos are back (thanks whoever fixed that).

    Winter Night

Mon pays c'est l'hiver. Damn, I feel the Quebec winter cold in my bones just looking at this. Terrific work, Line. Regards, Peter.

    Popeye

Dropped into your gallery because of stumbling onto your recent "Tremenont Creek" photo. This one's eye-catching too. Perfect perspective/composition. Regards, Peter.

    Tremont Creek

Robert, this is excellent. Love the way the light fades into the distance and the colour morphs into yellows. Don't know if that's fog or post-processing but either way it's excellent. Congrats. Peter.

    Caption the Cat #13

Detail from a painting by John Constable 1821 and so good I (almost) hate to mess with it. Cat image by me. Caption by you.

    At The pond

George - all your work is superb, but this one has especially intriguing aspects. I was about to skim by it, then I saw the frog in the background. It's in some ways a minor element, yet it transforms the whole image, breaking up what might otherwise have been a less interesting symmetry of circles. Lovely.

    Authoritis.

Hello Saad, the photograph is superb. The message (at least to me) is chilling: of how the authorities like to control by fear and the threat of violence. Oof. Well done. Peter.

    Caption The Cat #8

Pierre, many thanks. As with all the others in this series, the main painting is not mine . I merely insert an out-of-place cat in the style of the original - as best I can. I don't always succeed, but in this one and the Csezanne I think I matched the painters' styles reasonably. Many thanks for your comments, as always they are much appreciated. Best regards to you, Pierre. Peter.
