Todd, the detail on this one - especially when viewed in large is amazing. Wow. Congrats.

    Spring

Spring in my garden. Oregon grape (Mahonia aquifolium) is blooming like never before. (Focus stack of 20 images - the flowers are about 5 mm diameter).
  10. A classic Rabinowitz. Wonderful, weird and in a c lass of its own. Bravo.

    Mechanics Pattern

Tatiana, bravo. The photo, the editing, and above all the creativity are superb
  12. I've been asked why this photo. Because: * of the crazy reflections; *of the rapid colour changes caused by the reflections; *because of the tiny imperfections that you only notice in macro; *because capturing glass embossed print on glass is HARD - the right lighting is a challenge (happy to hear how others do it); *because glass is beautiful. What we take for granted would have been an object of wonder in an earlier century
  13. Elaine - the whole series is very imaginative. Very eye-catching. Bravo. Regards.

    Drummer

This is great - such a contrast between the serious quasi-military faces and the one laughing face. PS - hope the leopard skin is fake.

    Still life

Marek, this is very good. I don't recognize all the items in the photo but they each make what looks like a very carefully crafted contribution to the overall composition. The positioning, the shapes and the overall colour palette are very, very creative. Kudos.

    A Noisy Miner

Todd, I'm looking at it again, this time in large, and liking it even more. It's a *very* good photo. PS for Vincent also, I thought at first this was just a spelling variation on the Mynah bird , but no it is a separate species, and Todd (shouldn't have doubted) has it correctly as a Noisy Miner.

    "Ducati"

This is eye-catching, Patrick. Especially when viewed large. I like the subtle speed blurring effect that you've added. Very nice. Kudos.
