  1. at 2400 it would be sufficient for a 4K projector. Although projectors with more than 4K resolution are available they are rare. Yes I would agree with you to scan at 2400.
  2. Alkaline battery voltage when new under no load condition would have output higher than 1.5V. Same thing for silver oxide its output is higher than 1.55V but under load they would vary significantly. A good meter would work correctly with a range of voltage. For example the Nikon F3 would work the same if the battery voltage is above 2.4V up to slightly above 3V.
  3. If the projector is only 1080p then you only need to scan a 35mm negative at 1200ppi (in scanner term that is the same as dpi).
  4. FF frame lenses are not sharper than APS-C lenses unless they cost a lot more (like 3 times more).
  5. I think it would get damaged if you use it in the rain and use no cover
  6. Since the pandemic hit in early 2020 until now I think I shot less than 500 shots.
  7. 1600 pounds is only $2200 and a used A900 on Ebay is about $900.
  8. I would want an A900 but used price is kind of high.
  9. Yes. I can't list them all right now. I have to check.
  10. I think so. I think it's designed to be used with the Nikonos. I think all the Nikonos would work except the RS.
  11. I agree with Shun you have only 1 choice the Z mount lens.
  12. I don't think it would be a problem but I doubt that you use your cameras a lot. For low usage NiMH is a poor choice because they have very high self discharge rate.
  13. I like the FF if only because it has the crop factor of 1.
  14. So I would keep doing the same way I always do that is mounting the enlarging lens normally as my subject is going to be larger than its image on the sensor. I generally do not shoot with magnification higher than 1:1. Often less.
  15. I think it would work but I am not sure how fast.
  16. DPReview provides very good information. Just ignore any of the reviewers opinions. Any thing to do with measurements are good. Sample images are also good. Top 10, camera of the year etc.. you have to check how they reward them. For years although I love Pop Photography Magazine I know for sure I would never want their camera of the year. They list their criteria and by knowing their criteria I know what they picked for camera of the year is something I definitely don't want.
  17. I have the Nikon DK-17m which is supposed to do the same thing but only fit the Nikon. It helps in focusing but makes it's hard to see the entire screen.
  18. I will take you up on this at a later time perhaps thru private message. But reviewing the video the guy did have a screen at the film plane. So he didn't take a picture of the areal image.
  19. It's easy to take picture of an image on the screen but some how I am having problem taking picture of an aerial image.
  20. I did it. Simply taking a picture with the IPhone thru the SLR viewfinder. I can use any lens that can go on the SLR.

    AIS on D300

If you add ND it wouldn't know so it think the scene as if it's not as bright.

The matrix metering system is a lot more complex that any of the things you mentioned above. Nikon never published it fully so nobody really know how it does it. As for the scene brightness there may be more reason thant what I posted above. But that fact has nothing to do with film curve but rather it deems there is no scene actually brighter than EV16.3@ISO100.
