  1. I have tried a couple of different clear sprays. I never had a problem with fading/colorshifting etc.. (I live in the California Desert). That is until I intalled a swamp cooler(evaporative Cooler) in our house. Prints the were fully exposed, faded quickly with the higher humidity in the house. Even ones that had showed no sign of deterioration for 4+ years. The prints that are under glass (in frames) have held up very well.
  2. I heard a report on the news today, where they rated the 'heathiest cities in America to live in'. New Orleans came in last place. With as much alcohol as I consumed the last time I was there, as well as the great(fatty) food. I tend to believe the report. I cannot remember being anywhere where I'd rather have a camera though...
  3. That is a great photo... My son was 1lb 11oz at birth. In the picture attached, he is about 1 month old, loving his Momma...He's 3 years old now and doing great, Momma's still waiting on a Kidney transplant.<div>00CZF1-24177384.jpg.cfcd146d69761a8a630fbd01f9031212.jpg</div>
  4. Kelly's point about the soft drink cooler, is a good one. It attracts less attention. I got one from Big Lot's. I think I paid $6 for it. With a few alterations, it really works great. The other thing that I do, at Disneyland, been there 5 times in the past year and a half. Is take a consumer lens only. Again, It attracts less attention, and will hurt a lot less if it disappears. It will also deliver more than adaquate performance.
  5. Travis, Funny you should mention the embarassment photos. My wife has already started preparing an album, designed for our sons first date(embarassment). With her first hand knowledge, that all teenage girls are evil. My first hand knowledge, however, tells me the same about teenage boys. In 12 or so years, I'm sure the album will be Very interesting.
  6. I am still kind of young(35) and my son is only 3. I can say that Most of my favorite shots of myself, were taken with crappy instamatics. I wish, sometimes, that my parents were more interested in the quality of the shots rather than the ease of carrying a POS camera(126 and 110).

Another funny thing, I have found thousands of old Negs and Pics from my childhood, and my parents definitely took about 10x more pictures of me(first born) than my younger brother.

I WILL only have one child, not by choice(but thats a different story). But in his short life, my son has had Miles of film, and Many Gigs of digital pictures taken of his life. I can only hope he appreciates these as much as I appreciate the pictures of my childhood.<div>00CA25-23455284.jpg.a03341d458005867d545efa3f5b9a9cf.jpg</div>
