I really like what you are doing with your creative images. Very soft and appealing. Really nice Linda.

I love playing with this technique and this one is killer! Very nice.
You have an amazing portfolio of work. I've enjoyed the journey of looking through it. Very strong and inspirational. I'll be back.

I see you've gone to a few of my new favorite places. I hope you loved Alabama Hills as much as I. It is just a wonderful playground for photography. I really like this image very much and especially like your use of the road. It feels just a bit over done on the contrast but of course that is a choice and it's fine if that was what you were looking for. Anxious to see your Death valley stuff. Yes, an amazing place. Did you trek up the big ridge on the right off of the paved road? That is were I was before the fall... :)

Okay, I figured I hate when someone gives me a low rating and then does not say anything... I think Michel has it right, the top and bottom of this image is just to bright for me. Actually the main body of trees feel to bright too... I think the subject matter is wonderful, very graphic with great potential. I just don't get 6/6 for this one sorry.

Great. One little nit is the top right corner. Crop it out.

I stumbled across this one and just had to comment. Having been recently playing with triptych ideas I think this in fact does work! It works because it makes the viewer think and then try and pull the pieces together... I don't think it's necessary that they are in order at all. I like the mental exercise. Good work.

Thank you Jarmila. That was the intent! :)

Really a great image I'm just feeling it is a bit flat... see my attached levels adjusted for black version... maybe it gets away from the look you were looking for but I like the contrast better...

I love this but tend to agree with the other poster that the other umbrella is a bit of a distraction. How about what I've attached... just a quick cloning job in 10 seconds... obviously you could do a better job with more care. I beleive it is very much worth the time to try it. This is a print waiting to happen.

How can you not love this little shanty! I can see why you had to photograph this and like your choice of B&W for it. Very nice!

So Clive... did you make par or were you in the woods that you are capturing here?

Shot before morning light with shadow created by another lamp.

Yet another take on this scene with a different image. Version 3

I think the framing issue has been covered! Moving on, I love the subject and can see why you were attracted to it! I like that you selected just a portion of the building and did not feel obligated to capture the entire thing. I would hope you "worked" this scene a bit as there is certianly much to photograph here!
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful commnet on my railroad bridge image.

I appreciate the choice to cut off the tree and it is fine as it looks like it was a choice and not an accident, however, did you shoot it to include the entire tree too? I'd like to see that.
