I like the composition of this image but don't like the background peeking throught the bottom. I'm also not sure of the sharpness? I'm wondering if less DOF would have actually been better to create a softer image. This way it seems to busy.

Typically August is not a good time to make images in the Smokey Mtns
but I could not resist making the trip up to Morton Overlook as I was
down on business. I'm glad I did.

I just fell in love with Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia. Images like this
abound. I hope you find this pleasing.
-
It just does not get better than this! Love the soft background, nice job with the DOF. The wisps of grass (the color et all) just makes this image. Really nice.

To Andrew's thought on the horizon. I was using a level to keep the horizon straight. I find even with the level the xpan image sometimes looks tilted. I think it to be an illusion...

Just another lovely sunset at the often photographed Peggy's Cove
Light. I think the XPAN Format works well here.

Taken at one of my favorite spots close to home. Early morning first
sun with mist on the water.

Sorry folks I just could not resist posting this for critique. It
truly is a beautiful spot in the Pocono Mtns in PA.
-
I find vertical XPAN's a challange but like this effort.

I love Cades Cove in the Smokies. There always seems to be some mist
in morning that adds a little bit of mood to the image.
-
Top left is a little bright but not a big problem. This image is very nice.

Soft and simple. As much as I know that simple is most always better, its images like this that drive that point home. Nicely done. I like it.
-
Nice job of capturing a nice mood. I love the whole feeling of this shot. Nice job.

I hate dandelions in general but found this to be likeable...

Fantastic!

I like it, good composition and color. The background could have been more blurred. Less DOF. The trees become a little distracting.

The blue is the sky reflecting in the pond I found this beautiful
grouping in.

Man this is SO CLOSE! The top right is the only killer! Love the color. I wonder if a horizontal format would have been better as well?
Have you thought about shooting Velvia?
