kobrown 0 Posted March 24, 2006 This is simple and elegant, just a very nice treatment. Not the typical from what I have seen on most of PN. Kat Link to comment
jc-photography 0 Posted May 17, 2006 This is good Clive, a clever composition which tells a story without appearing too contrived. If a clean, high key studio style is what you were going for then I reckon you've nailed it. It'd be a totally different look but it could also be effective with a corrugated iron backdrop, maybe in colour under warm, contrasty natural side lighting. Link to comment
clivefox 1 Posted May 18, 2006 Thanks for your comments. Yes I was trying to obtain a high key image. It was shot outside my house. The shot was not set up or contrived in any way. What you see is just the way I left my hat coat and bridle, then later in the day I thought that it might make a good image. There are images all around us and most times we miss them. Thanks for looking Clive Link to comment
bigginger 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Hi Clive I like this shot, elegant composition and a perfect subject for this high key effect. I wish I could work out how to do it. Regards Mark Link to comment
barclayphoto 0 Posted January 23, 2007 Really a great image I'm just feeling it is a bit flat... see my attached levels adjusted for black version... maybe it gets away from the look you were looking for but I like the contrast better... Link to comment
