I can't believe I'm going to say this... but... this may be one rare time that I don't feel like the reflection is helping this image. The sky is SO dramatic I'd like to see more of it and not be distracted by the water and rocks seen through it. I'm wondering if a wider angle lens would have helped? -
Nice job on this one Andrew. I love fall reflections and this one is nice. I like that you carefully spaced the straight lines to fill the picture space nicely. -

So often we see waterfall images shot from the bottom looking up. I love this fresh perspective. -

Not a big fan of this particular composition but I LOVE the colors in the truck. I would like to see you create some abstract from this wonderful subject. Is this in Ohio? I would love to photograph it too and get to Twinsburg for business from time to time... anywhere nearby? -

The classic Sparks Lane... Having shot this many times this feels a bit bright. I would tone it down a bit. It also looks oversharpened...or something... not crisp like that D2X should be.. A terrific place to photograph!

Holy cow!! This may be one of the nicest imges I've seen in a LONG LONG time! Simply splendid!

The Alabama Hills are in Lone Pine California. This is an area that Ansel Adams spent a lot of time in. Many old Western Movies were filmed in these hills. In fact the main dirt road that cuts through is called Movie road. A very special place indeed. -

But I think the color is a bit bland.... I used some Velvia Vision on this attached version... What do you think? Also you could have shot two exposures and combined them in PS to get the exposure you wanted although this is really not bad. It adds a bit of drama that is not a bad thing.
I also did an adjustment on the highlights to bring them down a bit...

if the foreground is usable or not. I choose to eliminate the foreground and crop to a Pan... I
felt it was stronger that this original capture.

Phil, to my eye this is exactly what I had done but when I uploaded it was MUCH brighter. This is a big time winner. Simply stunning, vivid, moody, bold and mesmerizing. -
Leigh and Darius... Thanks for the constructive feedback. For what it's worth.. I do shoot with the XPan a lot and so I made the proportions of the crop the same as it. I could add more in the bottom but there are some distractions I had to make a choice with... None the less I feel your critiques are valid and apprecaited.
