I unchecked the box.... Let me know if this changed the situation.
-
Looking at the details of the suspect album I see that the box that allows anyone to submit photos to it has been checked. All of the other member albums that I have looked at do not have this box checked and allow only the original album creator to submit. I am thinking that this is why the suspect album appears in the list of albums that the OP has mentioned. If this is the case it may be that the site considers this function a "feature" and it is not really a glitch. I believe hat I can uncheck that box and we can see if that alters the situation. Any thoughts? Regards.

Measures of improving and shortcomings solving
WJT replied to Pierre Dumas's topic in PhotoNet Site Help
"...Rating should be anonymous and a list of highest rated images should be created by categories, time and in all categories for all times..." You're not serious! This was tried before and it was an absolute dismal failure. That policy allowed dysfunctional members to create fake sock-puppet accounts, login under those accounts, and then unscrupiously boost their own snapshots. Then they would low-rate and trash the photos of competeing members...all with anonymous impunity. It would be the nail-in-the-coffin for this site if that policy were to be implemented again. -
"We respect our users' intellectual property, and claim no copyright to anything posted on the site by our users. However, as a stipulation of using photo.net, we retain the right to keep and display anything posted by users on photo.net as part of the site indefinitely". I support full control of our own image content. The word "indefinitley" should be sruck and be amended to "...until the copyright holder deletes said content." An exception would be content posted into a forum as part of a discussion. This must remain so as to keep the discussion understandable.

Hello, I note that many of your images are marked as "hidden". Is it possible that this is what is causing the problem? Do you have the ability to selct and unhide those images?

I, too, have used The Darkroom and have also found them to be very good. They are one of the few that will develop and print B&W Infrared.

Yes, this is true. Your photos must be in an album for the arrows to function as you expect. So, create an album and put your photos in it; the arrows will maintain the view within that album. I agree that this is not an ideal method but it is what it is (for now).
