how do you get the background so dark photoshop?

Martyn, I shot this against a black background. Then in Photoshop, I simply selected the background (using the Magic Wand tool) and reduced its level a bit. Regards.

somewhere were able to spell FUCHSIA , named after a guy called Fuchs ( Ger. for Fox , pron. Fooks)! Cheers...
