Hummingbird in Flight

Cropped from the original 6x9 format (roll film back on the 4x5). I used two flash units, a scrimmed Metz 60 on Winder Mode for the key and a Rollei e36re for fill. They were positioned three feet away from the subject. Exposure was 1/400th second at f16.
Edited from the raw DNG file using Adobe Photoshop CS5

You took this with a what ?!

Geez dude I can't even spell all that - much less capture a hummingbird in flight with one of those  .. !

I'm very impressed - especially at your age ...

I have to be careful now since we can no longer edit our comments .... the children that we (you more than me) are ..........

Hope you're having a great summer - very good job on this one.

(re-reading 8 times - also it takes longer to etch in stone)

(and remember your reply will also be etched in stone- be careful what you say - or I may sue you)

smiling out loud ...

just think, for ever and ever, till time itself comes to an end...or their servers crash.

Having a great summer Ken, hope the same for you, too! Now, I think I made the 5 minute window. Regards.

Crown Graphic 4 x 5 !

I see Ken beat me to it, but not before I had my own shock.

Walt, I like challenges, too, but this is the photographic equivalent of climbing Everest--nonetheless, you did it, it's beautiful, and I would like to order one for the side of a major office building.

Great work!
