In my 3.5F I put in a rolleikin and use a prism finder. The shots are portrait framed, and using the center of that Planar gives you lovely renditions. Plus, shooting on 35mm saves you from frequent roll-changing. The camera to subject distance is ideal for head and shoulders. Try it.

First, the easy one. I have a good lens for this camera which has IS. Is the On position for this feature the straight line or the circle? Second, the camera body has a small dial near the battery compartment. It has a red line above it. See picture attached . What is it?

You are great with color and that lens is unbelievable

No, the settings were all to AF. I can focus it now. Maybe the scene was mostly a bright tone, and AF couldn't find enough contrast.
