  1. Taken with an 85mm 1.4 Nikon AIS lens.
  2. I was too busy being nervous. BTW, this was Tri-X rated at 3200 and developed in Microphen for 12 minutes @ 74 degrees.
  3. I found one more. This peep show was shut down when Citicorp built its huge building across the street. Enjoy the good old Tri-X grain! I got this shot in 1979! These girls are grannies now.
  4. I have a Plustek 8200 i scanner. Where can I get a slide holder for it? I've lost the original.
  5. Well..uh...you have me figured out. Yes, I sneaked a few more shots. I'll post them in this thread after I do the scanning.
  6. I could never get decent results from that film. I always underexposed, and the shots were too contrasty. Here is a dismal example. Anyone do well with this emulsion? But there's no grain!
  7. Nikon lenses do lovely things in the highlights, so I imagine they would have also performed well. I had a collapsible Leica 50mm once, and it would have flared out for this shot. I had a 90mm Leica lens from 1949 that would not have flared. This Ultron was probably manufactured in the 1950s.
  8. I took this with a Voigtlander Prominent II mounting an Ultron f2.0 50mm. This is a resized but otherwise unaltered scan. I am impressed by how the highlights are hot without blocking up and by the vivid colors. Is this characteristic of the lens, or did I get lucky with the exposure and scan? ?
  9. Two things: This lens won't AF on my D7000. WHY? BTW, it does focus on my N90s. ON THIS LENS, NEXT TO THE F STOP SCALE, THERE IS A RED DOT WITH A SMALL SWITCH BESIDE IT. WHAT IS IT FOR?
  10. Taken with Minolta XG-7 mounting 50mm 1.7 MD. Autumn of 1983.
  11. Blondes look the best of all in braids. Braids just don't work with dark hair, especially if it is curly. .
  12. I have film in my EOS 620, set for frame 1. But now the camera needs service. How can I rewind/get the film out without losing the leader? Can I put it in a changing bag and simply open the back?
  13. Tears lost in rain. Nice image. Are you a writer?
  14. I need a single focus spot in the middle of the vf screen, but I can't remember how to arrange this. I can't move the spot around so I can lock it in. Any one able to do this?
  15. Taken by a Minox 35ML. Amazing lens.
