When I look at old pictures that are throwaways and nothing more, I wince more if they happen to be Kodachrome. Gee, I think, I wasted that precious stuff on nonsense. Anyone else look at old slides with feelings like this?
I bought my FM2 as soon as it appeared on the market. When taking someone to the a waterpark I saw an opportunity to test the highest shutter speed. Bingo! This is from 1981 or 1982. Crummy film, but you get the idea.
Forty years ago, I shot a roll of that filmstock stuff from Hollywood. Now the colors have all gone icky. Anyone else have this problem? BTW, I have the same problem with old Agfachrome. Will any software repair this?
I just upgraded my Elements 11 to 22. When I click on the desktop icon, the software says it is deownloading something; I should come back later. But later--even overnight--I get the same message. How can I get around this? I still have version 11, but the new software has features I need. Anyone else suffer this?
I was in the NYC B&H store today to get film. They are sold out of 35mm. The clerk said, "So many people are shooting film that the manufacturers can't keep up." He said they won't have 35mm film for the next six months.
