  1. I like the perspective you chose here, John. the rusty center section is reminiscent of a rural highway going through the countryside. Of course, that goes well with the subject of the well-worn car. The whole thing speaks of many roads traveled. Very nice. Amy

    Inorganic organicity. Nice. Amy
  3. That framed white car makes this shot. Perfectly timed. Amy
  4. Though it's half a world away, it looks like a scene from the rural South, USA. There's a mood here that is slowed down and often taken for granted by those in its midst. I like this one very much. Amy

    Two Towels

You have the best eye for geometry, Jack. I know I've said it before, but it's always true. Amy

I like it. That fulcrum of golden light keeps pulling my eye like a magnet. Amy
  7. I think this one may be my favorite out of this batch. The mixture of both formed and free-form stone is nice: geometric yet not quite. Nice tones in this one, too. Amy
  8. You do good mud, Marco! Amy

Michael, this is beautiful. I'm liking your "straight shots" as much as your more creative stuff. This is really nice. Amy

Thanks Drew and Fred. Vulnerability is an interesting thought. It kind of goes along with transition many times. Thanks for your impressions.

    Very film noir. Nice! Amy

    Torso 16

    Beautiful, Dana.
  16. Two cool things about this one: first, I really like the tones. You really captured the sense of a rainy day.Second, the slightly off-set pole is suggestive of the mast of a ship. It pairs nicely with the tilt (?) or unlevel parking area. Even if this is a lens angle effect, it works well to add interest to this everyday suburban scene. Amy
  17. Took me a minute, Drew. I like this new composite/diptych thing you are doing! Amy

Mark, Dana, and Donna: thanks so much for adding your comments. Dana, I think you are right that the missing match to the shoe may be what gives this shot a feeling of something just a little bit "off". I hadn't thought of that myself, but it makes sense. Amy

    Bird and Halo

Dana, I got that creepy vibe from the bird, too. Amy

Yes, there is a story here. The viewing makes me want to know more. Amy
  23. Brad, I have the same one word critique for most all of your work t that I've seen: contemplative. You do contemplative better than anyone I've seen. I rarely comment because I hate to sound repetitive, but I think your work is very beautiful. Amy
  24. Ray, in the thumbnail, my eye saw the scarf as a cloaked devil at her back; she in a position of supplication to the gods. Then when I opened it fully, I can see that was all my own imagination. Yet, the impression remains.... Amy
