  1. Although I have a personal bias towards BW, from the two images you present, this one in color shows the landscape to be more impressive, rugged and forbidding. It blends so nicely into your wonderful portfolio of astronomical photos. DG

Extremely and beautifully delicate, subtle, elegant, silent. A magnificent and humbly admired capture of Earth's limit, i.e. our Atmosphere, that thin layer that holds us HERE. Truly exquisite. One of my definite favorites mostly for its meaning and invitation for reflection. DG

    Rain Street Fine Art B&W

I like them both, but this is much, much superior (my personal taste and opinion only). DG
  4. A peek into a human's life, that precise afternoon, at ....o'clock.

  5. Night somewhere. Unique, like the stripes of zebras, skins of giraffes, human fingerprints.

  7. In my humble opinion, the cropping and composition are simply perfect and masterful. BW and POV make it one of my favorites, covering many aspects, technical and artistic. DG
  8. Exquisite, superbly executed. A work of art, and a contribution to admiring the unimaginable marvels of Creation. A delight...hmmmmmm. DG

Wayne, Wayne, Wayne....How should I start after having done that very many times with your photographs - which you so kindly share herein -. I do not dare to even disturb the placid surface with comments that are redundant for having said so many times. This is just exquisite. A true fantasy of Nature, caught ever so surreptitiously and subtly. Captivating, exquisite, delightful. DG

    STOP!

Salutations profonds avec beaucop heureuse. First things first: my humble recognition for top photography, that is: Your sense of perspective and fascination with it, have led you to produce a wonderful "theme/subject" highly personal sense of vastness, present moment, and infinitude. Do you see? What I am trying to say is that your POV emanates ever so clearly the "perspective of Nature and life on Earth". Not only this exquisite morsel but so very many in your portfolios. I cannot commend you enough, as I said, encompassing all of your work. DG

I passed on making a comment twice. The third was the charm. A situation/photography sought after sooooo many photographers (me included)....Each has the author's personal POV, composition, post-processing, and many other elements. Yours is plain and simple a delightful, artistic, inviting Photograph (please note capital P). Bravo! DG
  12. Hello Wayne: I hope you are doing well. This is yet another of your highly creative "designs", almost architectonic, elegant, enticing, like a surreptitious hook in murky water. Makes the observer become captivated and generating so many questions....what is it, where and how was it taken...The thing that matters, IMHO is that you are able to catch your prey so subtly. As always, first-class work. Best regards. DG
  13. I very much like the title, but even more, the overall composition. At first glance, it looks hasty and disarrayed, but looking at it more intently, your magic comes forth. A marvelous "interpretation" of the dynamism of everyday life. For some particular (i.e. personal) reason, I believe that, aside from all the activity going on, the postcard stand is a jewel in the composition, bringing action and stillness into balance. The silent witness of a complete day of passers-by, and the rash of contemporary life. All of that behind your so very special impressionistic technique. Simply Wow! Bravo!

Amazing sharpness, but most of all, your view to make a magically soothing, with great sensibility and aesthetically exquisite. Nature has soooo much beauty, so much diversity, and you caught one of the most inspiring macro images I have seen in a long time. It immediatelly goes into my favorites. DG
  15. Dear friends Wayne, Giangiorgio, and Michael. As I have said on several previous occasions, and I stress it now, your comments both excite and humble me. For me, it was just a precious opportunity to "have", as if I had actually purchased something unattainable. This is so because it is in the very present but it is also in the past. Say....I could only have it on one of the walls in my studio. In any case, I am so glad to share with you a living vie of history, still present. Thank you so much for your kind visit and most appreciated comments. Best personal regards to each one of your. DG

    THE HUMAN EXPRESSION

I dare anybody, human or alien to interpret what the author (s) wanted to tell us.

  17. Have you noticed that the Elves have disappeared from the site? Can you visualize "ANYTHING· in "Editor's Picks"???? We are on our own..... And I would guess that in the long term, better for all of us PN users. We qualify each other with our choices to post and/or comment. It will be then to the discerning public to evaluate our work.

    FINAL DESTINATION

This is religiousness. A true token/symbol of the delight of silence and loneliness, with exceptional technical elements and worksmanship. DG P.S. With all due respect, the title tends to direct the viewer to you perspective, which is fine. If it had no title, the inner reflection on this perennial symbol could have been deeper and longer.

    the hut

As usual with your work, exquisite. This time I can see more of the "photographically- captured reality, reducing slightly that technique and tools you use thereof. A European roadside delight!! DG

    Thunderstorm

I am thrown aback by the beauty, the power, the intensity, the depth, magnificence of capturing one of Nature's tantrums. I am at a loss of words for this one-of-a-kind photograph, which IMHO should be in one of the TOP galleries in the world. I have never seen something so compelling and well arranged. My sincere admiration and congratulations. A must among my top favorites. DG P.S. I cannot stop looking at the image, and going back to it, as if it were unreal. One of the very delicate, exquisite details is the flash of lightning disappearing and appearing again, shaded by a cloud. Hmmmmm.....pure delight and exquisitness.
  22. If one tries to analyze it or comment on it, it would most probably ruin the depth and impact of this magnificent Photograph (note capital P). I applaud you and your work. DG
  23. Maybe it is my personal bias, but I simply love rainy days, and especially captures of rain and what goes on "outside". Colors and sharpness are insuperable. Bravissimo!!!
