Bravo. It is a rare combination so few photographers achieve between a (raw, real) scene and then converted into a much more REAL situation. You manage to imbue drama and context to an otherwise plainer photograph (yet valuable in and by itself). Sincerely, I admire your capture and later post-production to create a very, VERY powerful photo....lamentably in these crazy times, with a deranged individual with the power to ensure mutual destruction. Sorry for the editorializing. I love your work. DG

Hello Michael and Giangiorgio: You really, honestly, and humbly tell you that your comments actually moved me. I take photos that I like. If some great fellow photographers such as yourselves make these overwhelming comments, I then receive just the pleasure of sharing my images with photographers. Your comments are priceless. Your comments make me so very happy and truly make my day. They convey the message that what I see through the viewfinder is definitely not something for myself that I want to keep in a trunk. When it resonates with experienced and objective stern photographers, I feel like in the clouds, relishing that I captured something that appeals to other, highly sensitive, professional, passionate photographers. Thank you dear friends....thank you Gentlemen. My best personal regards and wishes go out to you. DG

Yes, you do my dear friend. But more than that, you love Nature, and its extravagant displays can barely be mimicked at best, by Photography. So lucky to have this "immediate" means to capture "a" moment in Time. Thank you for taking us there, wherever you were, masterfully, as ever, photographing a moment as you wanted. "Thanks, and thanks; and ever thanks". W. Shakespeare. Yours truly, from across this magnificent and aggressive-filled Planet. Wishing you the best, the very best. Your friend. DG -
Much appreciated Patrick. This image is so special, so great, so unusual, so different. It is a true treasure, that if you ever decide to sell it, you should ask for a very dear price. The detail is so enormous that it is one of the most impressive, unique, special photographs I have ever seen. The creativeness of capturing this moment is monumental. Classic art from the XV through the XVII centuries. Worthy of the top art/photograph galleries. With your kind indulgence, this must be in my absolute top favorites. DG

Hello Ilan. I have been in photography for over half a century. Currently taking a course on the evolution of art. Long story short this is exactly what I argued how about Guggenheimer Himes cart curator determines what is art. In my opinion, this photograph is undisputably art, modern photography, or the other way around, that is, like turning a grapefruit inside out. Congratulations. DG

Hello John Giorgio. My deepest respect for this masterful work of art. In my humble opinion, this is this belongs on a different and higher level I. It's minimalism it's so complex that it is pure art. I cannot catalog it as of the renaissance or post-modern. You leave me a very heavy, yet pleasurable and enjoyful homework. My regards and congratulations. And my thanks. DG -

Hello Evgeni: I don't know where to begin. I have been looking through your most artistic, sensible, delightful array of magnificent winter photos, but especially of lonely trees and black and white. Both are my weaknesses that truly move me when I see photographs of this superb quality and mastery. I dare say no more, as I would have to comment on at least a dozen of your magnificent Winter images. My sincere admiration and congratulations. DG

BW is a soft spot for me. Nonetheless, rather, because of that, I am more attuned to wonderful captures that shine and stand out in BW, like this lonely and magnificent composition. It may look simple to beginners, but it is rich and complex. I am very attuned with this kind of photography, and with this photograph in particular. Congratulation and immediately into my favorites, to study it further and enjoy the moment you so kindly share with us. DG
