    Misty Yellowstone

Delightful view, drawing the observer all the way from where you stand, into Earth's magnificent horizon (I really wanted to mean "our atmosphere"), ever so rare in our Galaxy, and by extension trillions of them. So here we are relishing: savoring Earth & Nature. A rare photograph, even when it might appear as another postcard....far from it. DG

    into forever

No point in highlighting the exceptional photographic elements ( light, contrast......etc.etc.etc....). I have only one word left: EXCEPTIONAL. Yours, DG

    brothers

Heamie: Firstly, congratulation on your collection of photos. So many different subjects and perspectives. I wish I could have the time, and realizing it would be repetitive, I would commend you not only in this image but I dare to include "the branch over the vague, far-away congregation of humans; and many others. You have a very special and personal Photography (pls note capital P). Salutations. DG
  4. Hello Jamie: Thank you so truly for your overwhelming comments/claps/observations of this image. I truly liked it a bit slanted when I saw it. It takes a keen eye to understand "composition". I could have easily framed it "conventionally straight" corrected perspective. However, this Is how "I" wanted to capture this fragment of reality......for myself. Thereafter, share it in PN where equals meet equals. In any event I greatly and sincerely thank your viewings and comments. Best regards. DG

Quite exceptional stands out photographically. Definitely into my favorites to study and learn. DG
  6. At first, aggressively striking. Upon closer inspection it is a VEEERY interesting photo. DG

    Really?

A most imposing, powerful photograph. One of the best off-the-track portraits I have seen in a long time. Well done! DG

    100 DSC_9894 fix sh

What can I say? My kind of photography. Superb and delightful. Technically it possesses several masterful strokes....oh, and my personal bias toward my origins in the "dark-room" developing 35mm and Kodak or Agfa paper, the exquisitely toned BW dynamic moment. This is truly classic, old-school and ever-present school Congratulations. DG

    Running

My sincere respects: You saw the fractionless-moment in time and took the shot.....to hold still Mr. Time, for such a fraction of a second (1/x...th of a second). Good for you "shooting from the hip". Bravo!!!!!

    the circle

A veritable treasure, to find the past....in the present. You masterfully, IMHO presented it in BW....still the very roots of our discipline. and art. Bravo.
  11. Jack: If I am honored by selecting this one among your favorites, therefore I deeply bow, Sensei, and reiterate the unique-in-life value for the Prologue of my book you so kindly, objectively, honorably (Honto neh!) gifted me with. All my close ones now know who Sensei McRitchie Sama is. Domo arigatososaimashita, Onegaishhi mas. Kiotsukete Kudasai. OOOOSSSS!
  12. Hello Jack: Strange as it may seem, I have passed over-and-over this so uniquely and evidently McRitchie's so personal and way to communicate something to you and me, I hadn`t found the right time, which now made the bulb to light. So Jack: your presence here in PN is truly an honor; I speak for myself. I so much appreciate teachers like you and the group we have created "through" the same visual language. We are now in a different plane, or level is what Mr. McRitchie -I humbly ask him to be able to say so : ( I thought of the word "dimension") technical aspects like texture and sharpness, etc., etc., etc. (so said by Yul Bryner in the movie "The King and I"). My humble and respectful conclusion, therefore, is that he is showing us what he saw, in that precise moment in time. Did he someone else was watching the camera. The composition and stiltedness are a refinement and a totally different topic. Therein lies the mastery of Mr. Mcritchie. So glad to see you back Jack, among old friends, holding up a sufficiently great forum, again IMHO. Best personal regards to you individually. DG

DG--------English tranlation: Dear Don Vicente: You have a special gift for producing a sharpness and clarity in your photography that amazes me. How I would sincerely and respectfully know (if you consider it appropriate), know what camera / lens you use - - just this superfical general info. This is a minor detail. The important thing is your exceptional specialty that you generously share with us. Really unique. DG
  14. Kind friend, gentlemen: Laurent, Giangiorgio, Michael, and Jack: As I have so often stated, and it is by no means a cliche nor a hackneyed comment: Your comments humble me utterly. It is a true prize to have such accomplished and seasoned photographers, that sharing my work gives me great satisfaction. BUT receiving in response your comments and the time you so kindly took to look at my postings, is even a greater sense of humbleness, happy that individuals like yourselves somehow relate to my work. I have not enough words to thank you, individually, and appropriately. All my best to each one of you. DG

    Leo

Extremely compelling. Photography at its core. Stands apart, i.e., sui generis. My hat is off for this "graphic" superb creation, a dog in transition (recalling "been me up Scotty" - Star Trek. This comment is made in all seriousness with its human psychology, behind the imaginative aspect, as I highly appreciate your technique and post-processing, many different angles to annalize your greatly educative content. DG

    Hard times!

Mon Cher Laurent: Your image grabbed me by lappels and would not let me unstick my nose from this impressive image. A masterpiece and a very special find very well taken advantage of this derelict house with an ominous sky. The combination of gray and green highlights the image even more. Delightful. DG

    wonder floating

Should I want to describe artistry and perfection in a Photograph I would not hesitate to show your delightful image. Bravo! DG
  18. Amazing perspective into human nature, transcending centuries and showing a very rough and truly artistic perspective of human nature and infinite expressions. Bravo! DG

    Intense!

Woooow! Speechless, astonishing. Not worth wasting words on a masterful image. Just observe and enjoy. Special. Special indeed. Apart from the average. Artistic and delightful. DF

    Outdoor Light

Simply amazing.....Senesei......The way you can so naturally and easily transform an average, almost unnoticeable perspective of "just a corner!", simply keeps mesmerizing me. You have a magical talent to turn an "everyday" pass-by, lonely light bulb into an enigmatic vivid, vibrant new realm. DG

Truly delightful. You managed to capture what artists have not. A masterpiece. DG

    A sudden Downpour

Hello Tomodachi Sama McRitchie sama: Reiterated one more, you cannot imagine what it means to have you back at PN, and pardon my straightorwardness, but Instagram is not a platform for artists and top photographers like you. This photograph is so strikingly realistic. The striking contrast between an instant in TIME and an ordinary street moment. You captured the essence of Time's Relativity. Bravisssimo!! Arigatogosaimashita. DG
  23. Dai Tomodachi, now dare I say, with your acceptance, Sensei. This comment I posted on another image, I wanted to share with you....Cher Larurent;, Amico Giangiorgi;, and Michael, always companion along the path...I am sincerely and humbly honored not only for your words but mostly for your kind visit to my portfolio. My feeling of relaxation and satisfaction is realized by comments and immersion in my work. My heartfelt thanks. I have realized that Photographs (capitalized/singular) are a very clear path to communication). Hello to each one of you, and sincere thanks. DG
  24. McRitchie Sama,Ichi ban Tomodachi..Most loyal observer, critics, and most objective friends. Your sincerity and relatedness to my imagers enhance my soul enormously. Kindness received....and bounced to you. My best to you gentlemen. DG P.S.So goes for all the visitors and visitors who have left a kind visit notice.
