Dear gentlemen and kind friends. A privilege it is fo me to receive your comments, your appreciation and your perception of my work. I am hubled you take the time to visit my work........and you GET my meaning. Before I decided to take this image, I had to wait for over six months for the truck hoping not to be parked there at night.....until I gave up and had to include this unavoidable intruder for a "cleaner" more "uninvaded" environment. Well, dear sirs, again, my respectful bow for your most encouraging and enlightening comments. DG -

Mon cher ami Laurent: It is noteworthy that your images have a special magnetism. While randomly scrolling the page, the colors and street lamp immediately caught my attention, forcing me to look deeper. I find your composition to be unorthodox with a very particular POV. Precisely because of this, it makes it, IMHO outstanding (i.e. it stands out like a sore thumb), and very special, in a category of its own. So, it came to no surprise when I read the name of the masterful author. Bravo! Warmest regards. DG -

I could have "erased" the drops of rain falling at the time, but I intentionally left them there to constantly remind me of the weather and the unavoidable drizzle, which I regret not a tiny bit. Hello Jim: I have repeatedly tried to photograph - and actually captured - "a place in time"....and a wonderful one at that. I could fill a page on praise and comments, but please allow me just to relish this exquisiteness. DG -

Absolutely astonished! Definitely a winner in any category. It belongs to a fine art gallery on a truly exclusive basis. Having said this and most impressed with the overall beauty and special moment, in my work I try to avoid cars or other things that deter me from a more "solitude" "quiet" environment. This takes nothing away from my praise and my putting this superb POV into my favorites. DG -
