1.
Refurbished meant it has been sold (even though some were not been sold) and the person who first bought the camera could take that many shots in the course of a few days before returning to the dealer. I wouldn't worry about it besides that many actuations doesn't mean that your camera will fail before one with no actuation.

 2.
Karim, I want to shoot slides now because I don't do darkroom work no more. My exposure controls are all the things I can do for the slides. If I shoot negative now and without a darkroom it would be so bad for me having to rely on the labs to make lots of decision for me.

 3.
The sample of 2 doesn't mean anything but Ilkka want an improved model of the Df and he doesn't own the Df. I own the Df and I don't want an improved version of the Df.

 4.
Actually I want to shoot slide film now more than before. I started out in late 70's shooting slides but changed to negative film in the 80's because I have more control on the process. But now darkroom is difficult, I can't get chemicals, so it's better for me to shoot slides and the process is still under my control. E6 processing is fixed.

 5.

I suspect that the only people hankering after a Df2 already own a Df. So is the Df so outdated and inadequate that it needs updating?

Let do a poll because I don't think so. I think Df owners aren't looking forward to the Df2. It's the Df haters that do because they thought the Df was so badly made.
 6.

They should introduce a new mechanical 35mm rangefinder camera. One that will compete with Leica in quality and price.

I believe the Nikon SP was better than the Leica M3 of the days and was selling for lower price but they couldn't compete with Leica.

 7.
How about a view camera? Sinar is making view camera but Linhof isn't so much. I am thinking of a small format view camera. Not the kind that take a DSLR body.

 8.
There is never a need to upgrade equipment. There is a great urge to upgrade. However, if you are a pro you always have the need to upgrade if your clients want image that can be capture/create with newer equipment.

 10.
I asked because the price of the D810 has just gone up to $2796 body only from $2496 with free battery grip. That's a significant increase. I think Nikon often did that just before they introduce the new model and then lower the price of the old model again afterward.

 11.
The Sigma lenses came from Japan. The Nikon 105mm f/1.4E came from China. There may be no difference in the quality of the products but if they package it in China, it shows. You said the Apple products came with nice packaging and I do know the IPhone's are made in China but any chance they are actually being boxed here in the USA?

 12.
The Pentax KX is even a better camera with silicon meter cell instead of Cds. It has the match needles metering system so you know which shutter speed it's set at in the viewfinder. Also it has the little prism to see the aperture number in the viewfinder.

 13.
I wouldn't buy the 20mm f/1.8 to use on the D7200. It's a waste to do do.

 14.
I have the non VR version of the 70-300mm f/4-5.6 ED AF-D and it's not very good. It's OK for the price as I paid $230 for it new from B&H a number of years ago.

 15.
By the way if the OP want to send me shipping cost he/she can have my K1000. I hate the thing so much.

 16.
But it seems to me if the price is right I rather have the DX lens. I hate to use FX lenses on the DX cameras.

 17.
I didn't know that Nikon made a DX version of the 70-300mm lens.

 18.
Don't buy the K1000 please! There are 2 cameras almost exactly like the K1000 except that they are better and often sold for less. They are the Pentax KX and KM.

 19.
The price of the product has a lot of weight in Consumer Report review. I have never seen CR recommended the best product of any kind because the diminishing return and the best product usually only slightly better than the second best or third best but is much more expensive.

 20.
You should have the lab makes the prints. Except for 8x10 it's often less expensive to have the lab making the prints. If you want control of your result do the scanning yourself. More controls are in the scanning than in the printing an already scanned file.

 21.
Never bought an FM new but in 77 when I bought the F2AS it came with very narrow leather strap. When I bought the F3HP in 82 it didn't come with a strap. When I bought the F5 in 2002 it didn't come with the strap either.

 22.
Yup! I asked for the price because in the other forum someone said the DSLR's are too expensive and in the old days they can have the K2DMD for $150. I didn't think so because in 1976 I knew the K2 was more than $300. I was shopping for my first camera then. If someone could afford the K2DMD in 76 they should be able to afford decent DSLR today.

 23.
Actually it's easy! Just need some changes in the firmware. The AI coupling is purely analog but the camera know where it's at all the times. As I turn the aperture ring away from the click stop the exposure indicator which is in 1/3 stop changes. So the camera does know just that it doesn't display that way. In A mode the shutter speed also changes as you move the aperture ring 1/3 the distance from a click stop.

 24.
I have a few AF lenses but still I often manually focus them except when I let the camera picks the focus points by itself.
