    ANIMAUX

The similarities are uncanny. Good eye Daniel
  2. I agree with Jack - the amazing elements that can be found within a City that translate into a 'Social Commentary' that very much makes me feel like my gut has felt over the last year. Distorted, pleated with 'cramps' of 'Irritable Bowel' of the Soul. Internal Acids decaying on what was once a delicious meal - I Love to sit down to a beautiful meal with a few friends and just sigh - and say - 'this is Civilized'. This image displays what has become of what we could have once perceived as 'civilized'............now it bears no resemblance of what Society looked like a couple of years ago. Thanks for posting Daniel........ Gail
  3. No a Title is not needed! What a delight of visual artistry - in design ! The seamless combination of textures and elements comes together, and for me made me stop and 'inhale'. Yes it is the 'location' and your 'POV' but it is also your excellent Camera Skill and Processing Skills that make such an impressive image. Never Overdone............just right............and as I said.................'a delight' ! Hope this finds you well Daniel my friend.
  4. Hi there Jack - nice to see you back.....I've not been online a lot - but I saw your comment about how the site is faster so I hope you are right. I almost am thinking that the framing is from inside the Airport or the shot is 'framed' from behind another plane??? no matter - the shot works well. I hope you've been well and the 'climate' in every sense of the word is 'good' where you are living. 'still in Canada'. :) Gail
  5. Excellent Abstract - from the 'street'. It could almost be a 'home' for 'many'. I like the combination of Textures and POV
  6. Beautiful Artistry is seen here Sarah !! Very nice work with Textures and Layers!
  7. Beautiful capture and edit Sarah...........just love Nigella !
  8. I don't know that I can add much - the Title 'says it all' ! A perfect choice of POV , Impressive edit and Presentation Alf, kind regards, Gail
  9. STUNNING imagery Alf - that always takes me to a calmer place - Thank you.

I think I stood in that very spot at City Hall many years ago. Excellent location for this shot of Old City Hall Bill ! Excellent detail and processing!

    Business Day

The reflections offer many interpretations for the viewer.........good thinking Bill !
  15. I have not been to the Eaton Centre for over 20 years I think !! I really like this street shot where we can see inside - to the glass ceiling and good to see the 'Geese' still flying !! excellent detail with that camera and lens Bill !!
  16. Excellent Perspective for what to me is a Fine Abstract Bill !
  17. Really like the 'PRESENTATION' ............and always enjoy your shots of the stores and places that are so interesting in the GTA ! Was this at the Market??
  18. I have the feeling you are looking out of the window from inside.......but this could be a double sided window. I really like the POV you are sharing ! Nice detail and colour of the main subjects while they are 'watching' from 'within'...... good intent Bill !
  19. She sure must enjoy the Lobster :) Children are such amazing subjects......I like the busEness of the shot - the Cooks/Staff rushing past as she is lost in thought.
  20. Oh my, good to see you have been very busy Bill !! :) I love the presentation of many of your images. Excellent offering to say goodbye to Fall........beautiful !
  21. Really nice capture Holger and I agree with the light hitting the backs of the trucks. But the overall scene has it's drawing power as well. Nice edit Holger!
  22. Yes, not too many places like this anymore Holger. I do like your POV and your edit. Good detail and you edit seems to be just right to convey the atmosphere of the time period. When I was a child there was a Drug Store across the road from our Apartment. We lived above a Hair Dresser's Salon. At the back of the Pharmacy, they had a 'Soda Fountain'.............with chairs very similar.........old but not too me back then. Dad treated us every so often to a 'visit there'. Have to say that the iPhones do take excellent shots these days!
