Sasha is growing up !!! She is so cute & has no doubt been a great friend during this past year. I think of you often & don’t get over here near enough. Yes, back to being thankful for the simple things is so important. For those of us who have bee blessed with a roof over our heads, a meal to satisfy our hunger , well we are blessed. We have no reason to complain. Miss you my friend. Back to visit your lovely images !!!
  3. Beautiful use of light, drawing my eyes to this exquisite painting or tapestry. Love the mood and atmosphere in Black and white.
  4. Exquisite capture making me pause and yearn for such a lovely tropical evening. Perfect ‘Mental Health Break’ that swept me away. Hoping you are doing well my friend! Best always dear Daniel

    An Old Friend

I can sense he is someone you are comfortable with, likeable, kind, good work. I used to sketch but am not good at facial dimensions at all.

Nice work ! I have the sense of the season, seems to be a bit of a chill with how his coat is done up. Very likeable person is my impression.

Your talents with facial detail, depth and expression are really impressive. Nice work. Hope all is well, teaching must be difficult during this time.
  8. Good dimension and depth in his face. I find the facial expression realistic, makes me ponder about this man. For you to draw him, he must have meant a lot to you.
  9. I can really feel the love and affection in this composition Donna. I can feel a connection to Anna's facial expression. Very nice work my friend. You have improved so much over the years !

    Tiny Insect

Thank you Tony for your very kind and thoughtful words that touched me very deeply. It has been a long road to be sure. 1 year Anniversary of the Loss was just a few weeks ago and it seemed to tear off the bandaid that had been forming, understandable of course. So hard for son Jesse and the children. I truly appreciate your concern and words of advice. I will drop by to say hello dear friend.
  13. my email still ends in cogeco.ca Bill

Good perspective, wish I could draw people. So good to see you drawing again Donna. Will write soon my friend.
  17. Masterpiece ! and yes you are the star. You quick mind and eye create captures that will live on in our minds. The title was perfect, the many real life textures and processing captivate the senses !
  18. A great find to be translated by your thoughtful eye. At fist I almost thought it was a dark figure trying to sneak away, just the way the stain seems to bleed. No matter, you always make us pause and think Jack. Bravo !
  19. Warriors ? or could be Lovers ? Love it Jack, hope you are doing well my friend.

  22. Exquisite composition. The depth of color, quality of light and overall dynamics of the image just drew me in. Has to be Venice, one of my dream locations but alas, not sure when I would ever be able to visit now. I envy your experience my friend !
  23. I just saw your comment Bill !!! I have not been on my Computer for some time. But I had been worried about you for so long, so happy to see you visited, hoping we can connect somehow my friend !

    Remants

Thank you Daniel for asking where I've been. I've not been on my Computer much this last year. My son's wife passed away in a tragic car accident and with helping him out, and dealing with all the loss associated with such an event, I kind of got 'stuck'. Even to this day he is struggling. And then there is his little Layla. I didn't even have any interest in my Computer and that is not like me. I am now dealing better but with Covid, it sure has made life a bit difficult in some ways. But I am fortunate. I have a roof over my head, am able to afford good meals, family who loves me. I am blessed beyond measure, so I do not complain. I almost think this pandemic has made people look at their lives, and I hope see how blessed they also are, perhaps we all needed a 'reboot'. We take so much for granted in this life. I am blessed to have good friends like you and others who stop by still and comment on my photos !
