    Going Up

I can tell this image means so much to you...........I have so many moments that are similar.........times through the years that touched my heart and soul and I am bound to them. Sometimes they soothe us like nothing else can.

    Excellent Macro Pierre !!
  12. You prove that there is always an 'image' to be taken - and even if in the streets......well balanced and of interest to all.

    Menace

Well I can see why it was a POTD. Simple composition - yet with many lines, angles and all a recipe from our Concrete Jungle. Bravo Jack !
  14. I've resembled a version of this image from time to time..........days when you feel like you are a 'double or triple exposure, flipped, twisted and tossed about' !! Psychobabble at it's best ! (yes..........still alive and kicking when I feel like it :) hope all is well with you dear Jack.

    ALL TOO HUMAN

Yes, this is 'all too HUMAN' and oh so 'present' ! The face of the news these days !

    HEADING UNKNOWN

Yes, this image makes me think of those in the last wars who bravely set off...........not always knowing of their Destinations.........and so many never returning. In many of the movies and real Documentary Interviews I have watched.........for so many it was what was 'noble' and 'right' to do . Many felt truly called to serve their countries. Some just young teens - never imagining what awaited them. But there are many who sacrificed for us and still do. I don't know that I could be that brave. I like the Textures used and overall Colour Cast of the composition.
  18. Advertising caught us children up in the 'sugars' of the day. Thankfully my Mom could not afford 'Frosted Flakes' all that often........they were a favorite until I knew better. But that being said......it brings back fond memories of Mom sacrificing probably a bit of something for herself just so us children could have that odd treat. I survived and I am enjoying looking at these old wooden crates that bring back childhood memories. The Disney ones may be more recent but they still are Antiques !!! sooooo me thinks I am one as well. Thank goodness I have a sense of humour. Antiques bring back so many feelings of the past. Thank you for sharing !
  19. This image is almost a statement of our times. While we have so much knowledge in our world............sometimes I think we cannot access the most valuable because 'perhaps it is encased in the stone or marble' that is in the far reaches of the minds of those who we would hope have our best interests at heart. I never thought we would arrive at this time in History when mankind has advanced so much - only to fall so far backward. Collateral Damage abounds all around us. Thanks for this one Daniel !
  20. I like the grain combined with the quality of light in this composition. I love old architecture and when I see and image like this I long to travel. I like how my mind is invited to go and explore beyond the gate ! Wishing you all the best always dear Daniel, friend always, Gail
  21. LOVELY.........a preferred POV that allows me to appreciate the gracefulness of the Swan.
  22. This view, entangled - and of course it matches your Title so well. My first instinct when I saw the image was of 'ones' mind (psyche) - so many of us are bound by what we allow to affect us - yet there are those who cannot help but be victims of circumstance........that is the saddest 'image' I can think of. Not having a choice at all. Your images challenge the eye and mind and awaken insights that otherwise may remain stagnant. Bravo, again nice work.

    UNTITLED

Beautiful image that stirs thoughts of the Romantic and moments of Passion. The combination of the colour of the rose and shade of nail polish along with the Mosquito Net..............completes the image in my imagination. Bravo Daniel! A very intimate POV as well.
