Wayne Sadler 582 Posted September 4, 2017 Maybe because the river Thames was low and appeared muddy or maybe because artists on this site have taught me a greater appreciation for the sky as a compositional element, I found myself focusing more on the bridge and sky and not the Thames. Here, I realized upon processing, I have emphasized a landward side of the bridge not commonly made a primary focus of images Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 277 Posted September 4, 2017 Most impressive painting! I dare say that I would have avoided the house on the right, not the church, only the house because I don't think it belongs here aesthetically and architecturally! Cheers to that! PDE Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 582 Posted September 4, 2017 Thanks, Pierre. I agree with your consummate aesthetics. But I needed the space to the right. I may try to clone-out/fill the more modern building to the right. (That church like building to the right has a life of its own. I may post its image a little later.) Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted April 11, 2020 What a magnificent technique you have managed to perfect. The enhancement of a "pure" photograph processed through your "old", so to say XIX printing machine, yields an amazing and stunning effect. You have, IMHO managed to produce an in-between technique. It renders such a special effect that mesmerizes and captivates, keeping the viewer wondering....but mostly, enjoying such definition and colorful images. Quite unique. Congratulations.
