Hi Guys, I played some with your image. I used the burn tool and adjusted the contrast and curves. I also took out some of the noise. Thought you might like to see what I would have done with the image. BTW - the baby is darling and this pose is always a parent favorite.

Thanks for your comments. I have attached the full image so if anyone is interested in the crop. This shot was unintentional and was the first from the sitting. I hadn't changed my camera settings to my studio set-up but after I previewed the image, I thought it looked interesting and would be fun to play with. Here is the original just converted to BW.

I overexposed this image with my camera and not PP. I also cropped in
the image pretty tightly to focus on her eyes. I'd love to hear your
thoughts. Thanks!

I like the idea but it looks like she is floating in air. Maybe try to just color in the guitar and then lower the saturation so it is very light pink. Just a thought...

Neat shot - Todd Laffler did one similiar that you should check out as well. This definitely takes a willing child/parents and fast SS. Great job!

What a cutie - love the piggies. I agree with the strip of pink at the top but I have been in similiar situations where sometimes it is unavoidable and you just focus on getting the expression. Especially at this age. The parents I am sure won't even notice or care about the pink backdrop. Keep them coming...

I love the mood and tones of this. The sky is terrific. I am not sure about the snake. I think it takes away from the photo and becomes the focus versus the little girl. I also would suggest cropping in a little more from the left since she is facing right.

Another gorgeous portrait! Your skin tones are absolutely flawless - is it their make-up or post-processing? I also like the angles you shot your head shots at.

Beautiful shot Sandy! I prefer the BW version. It looks like a magazine ad. Her eyes just sparkle.

Thanks David - this is my first set of baby girl identical twins that I have photographed. They are sitting yet so it made it a little more difficult to pose them. Their mother loved them so I achieved my goal.

Thanks for commenting...:) I thought this would be a fun family portrait. The babies are just 5 months old and the little guy is 18 months so it took a little while for them to get situated where I could see all the toes. It looks much better in the black & white tones versus regular color.

Identical twin girls:)

A different take on the family photo - includes Mom, Dad, 18 month
old, and twin 5 month olds.

Thanks everyone for the great response. This was taken on the edge of a cave at about 9:00 am so the sun was hitting just perfectly at spots and horribly at other spots. This one had her facing the cave/shade with the sun obviously to her back. I did lighten her face a tad but all the light is natural. Thanks again!

Great corner placement!

What a darling image! I love it. She looks like she is having a real party. I like your new bio and feel the same way most of the time. It is an all consuming hobby. Our eyes become our tools and you can't help but think of everything you see in the terms of a photograph.
