Thank you Frederick! I know "baby portraits" are not admired much here on PN but I find it more of a challenge than an annoyance. Every now and then I'll have a "hit" that many on PN enjoy such as this one. I truly appreciate your comments and am so happy I was able to draw your attention with this image.

Thanks for commenting. I find it interesting how some sessions are very difficult to get one good shot and then sessions come along such as this one where every shot I took turned out perfect and pretty effortless. Those sessions keep me motivated. His mother ordered many photos which also brings a smile to face:)

Thank you Yinka. It's nice to hear from you. I peek at your portfolio every now and then and you work is truly becoming art. You are so well rounded as a photographer. I also saw the magazine pages of yours which is soooo cool! I showed my husband and told him that these are from a friend of mine. Thanks for the mother's day wish. My kids are growing up way too fast.

Leanna - This caught my eye instantly. What a beautiful shot of a beautiful model. I love the hood and the way her eyes sparkle. My only advice would be to try to soften the lip lines some. They are a little distracting since the rest of the image is so smooth and soft. I think I would just take a very small healing brush and touch up each line a litte. But all in all, this is an image that I wish I had taken myself:)

Thanks Leanna - This is my daughter so I think so too! I think she is perfecting the serious look as a 7 year old with hours in front of my camera. I'll be curious to see if there are any long term side effects:)

Hi Jackie - The backdrop is seamless paper with a piece of heavy-duty plexi-glass laid on top of it to protect it from tearing and the obvious baby bodily fluids:)

Thank you Rosa - This little girl's dress was beautiful so that inspiration for feminine and soft came pretty easy.

Thank you so much Annie - I appreciate your comments.
I LOVE doing children's portraits and have decided after dabbling in all areas of portraits that I am only going to shoot children's portraits and stop doing weddings, seniors, large families etc. I became overwhelmed and my business is chaos so I decided to simplify and stick to want I know and love.
This is of my children on a recent vacation. I just had this printed to a 10x20 print and now I am looking for a place in my home to place it:)

I added a vintage effect to this one. Any comments are appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks Andre and yes feel free to use any of my shots for ideas or inspiration. His daddy loved this and so did many other of the local firefighters so that was neat to hear. I love adding personal touches and items such as this versus just standard props that every kid uses so I encourage people to bring items from home so items that are special to their family. Hence the large number of tractors that you see throughout my portfolio:)
