My favorite of the bunch! Light, composition, and detail are superb in this image.

Not having the original to look at for comparison, I do believe this has more impact than the original. It would be nice to see it in color also. I like the composition, and the white cloud background does nicely to emphasize the Joshua Tree. Good work on this one, Anthony.
I'm attaching my interpretation of this image to see what you think of it.

This is a wonderful composition, and Tom is right ... it tells a story. The light background isolates the boy and his bike. For me, this is about boy vs. hill. I think I can, I think I can ...

Your composition is pretty good, but to me, the image appears to be a little on the dull side. Not dull as in boring, but dull as in needing a little more punch ... contrast? brightness? Overall, a decent image, but can be improved.
I love Joshua Trees.

The water and clouds give this a dreamlike quality that I really like. I don't know how much post processing you did, but whatever you did, it is superb. I should mention too that the composition is right on the money. Have I mentioned yet how much I like this photo?

This has tremendous impact! Humans will most likely continue the slaughter of species to their extinction in the name of profit until humanity will no longer be able to survive. Then, the earth will finally heal.

I am enjoying this entire series tremendously and I look forward to its continuation. Your dumbo-rats are very entertaining and you present each one of these photos in a very natural way. Congratulations!

The composition is good, but facial color seems dull. The brightness on top of her head is a little distracting, but it certainly doesn't ruin the photo. I took the liberty of doing some quick adjustments ... see if you like the result. You're on the right track. Oh yeah ... and you have a beautiful model.

This has an old-time look to it that I really like. Composition, light, processing ... all so wonderful. Good work.

Gordon ... where were you when you ran into my ex-wife? Seriously though ... I've been waiting to see some underwater photos from you. I like this one in particular for the colors and detail in the fish. Not sure what kind of fish it is, but it looks like it might be hiding in the vegetation waiting for its next meal. Hopefully, you'll post more soon.

From my point of view, the background is blurred enough as to make it only a very minor distraction. In an urban setting, the best we can do at times is to blur the background as much as possible. I've seen photos (and I'm guilty of this myself) where the background is as much in focus as the subject. Now that's distracting.

Interesting topography nicely photographed. I used to have a boss whose face looked like a baboon's arse, but it wasn't due to blowing snow.

You've titled this photo "A Hot Day", but it doesn't convey the feeling of heat, rather it looks more like a windy day judging by the palms. This most likely would look better if you had shot with the sun close to the horizon. Also, I feel the lack of details in the shadows works against you here. Use the palms to your advantage. I'm sure they're absolutely beautiful on a calm day. I hope you take my comments as they are meant ... a helping hand.

I get the feeling that she stands in fear of what lies behind the door. I feel sad for her.

This looks so peaceful and quiet, albeit a little chilly. I was thinking it might look better if you cloned out the leash, but I actually like it there. It gives a connection from man to dog. Nice composition.

The colors, light and composition are beautiful. The only negative would be the pole and wires. It's only a minor complaint though, since they aren't very noticeable. Good work.

In a word .... stunning!
