Joshua Tree I have made some improvements from the original for critique.

Your composition is pretty good, but to me, the image appears to be a little on the dull side. Not dull as in boring, but dull as in needing a little more punch ... contrast? brightness? Overall, a decent image, but can be improved.

I love Joshua Trees.

Not having the original to look at for comparison, I do believe this has more impact than the original. It would be nice to see it in color also. I like the composition, and the white cloud background does nicely to emphasize the Joshua Tree. Good work on this one, Anthony.

I see what you mean. I did like your rendition. You lightened it up so that more detail on the tree is visable. I'm going to play with it more. When I get a chance I will post the original so that you can see it. Thank you again for taking the time.
