bruce_z._li2
Kodak Tourist II with Anaston 105/4.5 lens. Despite its "sin" of using 620 film, this is easily one of my favorite 6x9 folding cameras out there. Excellent optics, solid metal construction, simple and no fuss operations. And you can get one for 10-30 bucks, any day. Photos in the weekly. Edited October 30, 2022 by bruce_z._li2
808 Photog
I am back to being the "Foodie" in Hawaii, so the red Fed-2 / Jupiter-8 will join my X-e1 digi at my Sunday Farmers Market in Kailua. Aloh, Bill
gary green
@bruce_z._li2 Did you ever get your Synchro-Rapid 800 shutter working?

Hi Gary, I did manage to open up the shutter. But in the process of removing the synchro sub-assembly I messed up things, so the shutter seems not salvageable any more. The lens cells are still in great shape so I will probably mount it in another shutter for projects.

rick_drawbridge
A B-Series Praktica, the BMS, a slightly dumbed-down version of the BC-1, one of my favourites. I'm interested to see how the 50/2.4 "pancake" lens performs.
Niels - NHSN
Still exercising the 903SWC. I tend to underexpose with ultra wides, so still trying to familiarize myself with the 38mm. This weekend with a roll of Fujicolor PRO 400H exposed @ 250ISO - or 200 if in doubt. Edited November 5, 2022 by NHSN 4 Niels

bruce_z._li2
Ricohflex Dia with Riconar 80/3.5 (another triplet lens). I really like the color slides out of these TLRs with triplet lens!

Niels - NHSN
I was out with the old F and the 35mm/2.0. Ilford XP2+ as it is tolerant for underexposure. It was a gray and gloomy day today. I use a Sekonic L-308B to read the light. Edited November 12, 2022 by NHSN 7 Niels
bruce_z._li2
I did not really like the ergonomics of Kodak Reflex II TLR, but hopefully the Anastar lens is worth the effort. B&W test roll looks good, now going to do some color during the weekend!
bruce_z._li2
@808 PhotogI have an Agfa Record II with Solinar, sans rangefinder. Still using the original black bellows (patched up with black fabric paint), so not as vibrant as your blue bellows. Very pleasant to shoot, lightweight, and giant negatives for its size and weight. bruce_z._li2
Since this is my "Kodak and Anastar" appreciation weekend, I present you another bargain bin gem Kodak Tourist II with Anastar 101mm f/4.5 lens. @gary greenI finally found one specimen that has a (mostly) working shutter. The B&W test roll turns out well, so color will follow.
Niels - NHSN
This Pentax K2 is an acquaintance's camera (the lens is mine) and will be with me for the weekend. The ISO dial (located around the bayonet) and the aperture following cam were stuck, likely from lack of use and I promised to give it a look. The hack (the only one I know) was a few drops of naptha and now the parts appear to be moving. I will be shooting a roll of Foma 200 - my usual test film. I hope it stays operational. It is an gloriously solid camera from 1975. It was the flagship model of the Pentax mount change from M42 to K. It has an electronically controlled shutter with automatic exposure (aperture priority) and yet, amazingly, the speeds from 1/125 and up to 1/1000 & B operates even without batteries. 4 Niels

bruce_z._li2
@James BryantHi James, how do you like the 180 Planar? I'm still debating which one to get for short tele to compliment my 60/3.5: 120/4 makro, 150/4, and 180/4.

I had a 150 that I used for 30 years and then gave it to my son. Of the two focal lengths I probably like the 150 better but it is a close call.
