    Beautiful clouds! The yellow filter was doing its work, but it was the photographer who captured the image. The Novar triplet is a very decent lens at f/8 and below. Glad you could get rid of the fungus blob.

    I got mine from a friend in the U.S. way before Harry Potter put them in the limelight. These are uncommon in South America. It was my first successful shutter repair ever; the mechanism is really simple. The camera is robust; the ergonomics are a nightmare in comparison to more modern designs, but the Cintar lens is quite capable.

    Did you wind with bellows closed or opened? Sometimes the bellows assembly goes too far back with bellows closed and may scratch film.

    Gary, I had the very same Ikoflex model, an Ib if I am not mistaken.. Worked well enough for me. For the thread, an old shot from that Ikoflex. Probably FP4+ in Beutler.

    Same for me, although I do not use eyeglasses that viewfinder is far from ideal!
