    Hi all, I going to purchase a Rolleiflex 3.5F that does not have a meter. Here's my question if I have the right meter parts for it could you install the meter into it, does it have the leakages and wiring inside already just to hook it up to have a working metering like to other Rollei's that already have them. Thank you

    The 5D Classic is a great camera, loved it so much I purchased one last week and it's a beauty, hardly used looks like new. Actually it's my second one the first one I purchased the high speed shutter was bad so I was able to send it back. This ones much better, here's a tip you could alway's tell if the camera been used a lot by the flash shoe above the prism, if the black shoe is worn off it's been used a lot.

    Did you try cleaning the contact's, sometimes there's a bit of tarnish even on gold that effect's current.

    Just a update on my 5D, I sent it back and received a refund from ebay, then I went on and for a few dollars more I purchased a like new 5D, not a mark on it and all the shutter speeds work.

    Canon's seem to block that, I tried down loading a picture on one of the websites and came up blank, plus I mailed the camera back today to the seller.

    Thanks, but I opened the case and it seems ebay sided with me so I could return it, I'm going to look for one in nicer shape. will just have to look a bit harder at them. I'm just concerned that the shutter might get worse and I'll be out shooting and that's it.

    I opened a case file with ebay, to see if they could do anything for me, I'll wait and see. Your right if I stay below 1/4000 sec I'm good, I wonder how long this shutter will last?

    Oh I know, might as well get another one.

    It's a lot of screws, I just called a place to repair it and they quoted me about $350.00 to get it done, Yikes!.

    I agree with what you say, for now that's what I would do 1/2000 of a sec maybe a little above that. I was thinking of replacing the shutter myself but it a lot of taking the camera apart. I just fixed a 24mm f/1.4 L lens, it needed a new motor and I put that in and this lens turns out to be one of the best lenses I have, stunning.

    I called a camera repair place today and they said it's the shutter or out of synch second blades. I was told they might be able to adjust them but in the end it would be better with a new shutter which I would have to get on my own and they would install for $180.00 dollars

    I reset the camera and no go, batteries are all recharged, changed card still there.

    Hi mark, Yes it's the shutter speeds the three top shutter speeds 1/5000 sec, 1/6400 sec and 1/8000 sec. when I select them either in manual, aperture or shutter priority modes and I take a picture the image is black, so when I lower the shutter speed down to 1/4000 sec the picture could be taken. I'll go thru the camera and settings and see what you recommended to see if it works.

    I picked up a little while ago a used Canon 5D and it seems the top three shutter speeds does not work, I tried with and without a lens it seems 5000, 6400 and 8000 are pretty much done for. So is my shutter going and it needs a adjustment, would anyone know what the problem? Thank You

    Hi all, Well it finally has happen, my battery for the Rolleiflex 6002 will no longer hold it's charge. I charge it and few hours later dead, is there any hope or does anyone sell replacement cells? Thanks

    I had a D3 and I alway's grabbed my Fuji or micro 4/3rd's, at one point the D3 just sat there for a year not being used so I sold it and my lenses. The 5D is a lot smaller to take around and take pictures.

    Did some shooting today and the quality with the 5D is really nice, and it's full frame so the bokeh is great!

    Thanks, I remember that story in popphoto magazine, took a few shoots today and I used a older Canon EF 50mm 1.8 series I lens and the shot's were really sharp and colorful.

    I just picked up a 5d for a great price on ebay, I know it may be old in Digital terms but I just went out today and took a few fall tree pictures and they look terrific. Keep in mine I do have a Fuji XPRO-1 which i love and use all the time, I just wanted a Full frame camera to fill that void.

    Okay the search is over I have decided and picked up a Canon 5D, great price and in great shape. Thanks to all for the help.

    That's okay I don't want all the bells and whistle's of the new ones anyway. I have that in my Fuji, and going the 35mm route I sold all my camera's awhile back and went 6X6 size.
