1.
I going to redo the leather it's starting to fall apart, on ebay their's a seller in China making
replacement leather for the 3.5E. Today I cleaned the shutter and aperture blades and so far
it's working good till a CLA.
Clark

 2.
Hi all,
Well I got my rolleiflex from the bay today and it's in pretty good shape,
glass is pretty clean the body is in nice shape, the back has it's share of
nicks and bangs, so here's the question if I need a back for it can I get a
back from a MX or other camera or do I have to stay with a 3.5e back?

Thanks
Clark

 3.
There's a type I, a type II that for the 3.5 and a type III for the 2.8 models.

 4.
Hi all,
I was surfing the bay again and this week and I had to get what seems is
a great condition 3.5E with a planer 3.5 lens. I have to confess the back in the
90's I had a 3.5f whiteface which I sold and after that regret, so I pick this guy
up. The only thing is the latch has a problem and doesn't work and will not close
so I should get it next week. Anyway I want to get a type II hood for it and I see
there's a few difference's so which one to get is the question?

Thanks
Clark

 5.
Hi Charles
This camera (the 6003) has so much more wiring and other stuff going on with it
I'm not surprise, the 6008 intergal is a lot better made inside less wiring and more
plug's into board's. I'm also trying to get a new motor from the original company
I'll see how that makes out.

Clark

 6.
It doesn't do anything, it's really (Like bones say's to Capt. Kirk it's Dead Jim) I don't know
what happen but thank you for the reply.

Clark

 7.
Hi all,
I received a 6003 SRC 1000 for a great price and it was working great except
for the flap behind the mirror, so I took off the side of the camera where the ISO
dial is and clean and lubed it, I then did something that I should not of did I put
the battery back in with the circuit board still outside the camera it worked the
mirror and flap went up but thats it all dead now. the fuse doesn't blow it just
does not turn on, I did manage to get the mirror down I just turned the gears
to make the mirror and flap come down, otherwise that's it nothing. Is there
a reset inside or another thing I could do or is it a loss cause.
Clark

 8.
Update; Found a working 6003 camera body for a great price on ebay (again), might be good for
parts toward the 6008.
Clark

 9.
Okay Here's hoping it works, if not I might have to find another 6008 body someplace and switch
the parts out.
Clark

 10.
Thanks Ferdi it worked out great, I was able to clean it all out, relube it and it seems to work better,
I still have to get a battery for it and there's one more thing I don't know about it's the mirror its in the
up position I hope it does not mean that the mirror electronic's are shot here's hoping.
Clark

 11.
Hi all,
I received a Rollei 6008 intergal today and I started to work on it but ran into
a bit of a problem, I can't remove the panel on the side of the camera that has the
shutter dial on it. Does anyone know how to remove the shutter dial or is it another
part that needs to be removed first, there seems to be a problem with the bearings and
or contact's that has to be adjusted. Any help would be great.

Thanks

 12.
Hi all,
I've been bad, I been surfing eBay and looking for accessories for my 6002 I happen upon a complete
6008 intergal, the only thing the seller who had it did not know if it worked or not because he had no
battery or charger so I purchased it. The price was great looks in nice condition and heard they are still
repairable so that a good thing plus I'm pretty handy so I might give it a shot myself, It's coming today
the seller is here in the States so one day delivery.

Clark

 14.
Hi Joseph,
I have no problem doing DYI, but I need a place you could recommend to build the packs
for me.
Clark

 15.
Hi all,
I purchased this charger for a great price on ebay and was wondering if you guy's or gals
have any great tips on using it. It seems pretty well built and I did plug it in and it lite up
with a beep!
Thanks
Clark

 16.
Hi all,
I have the above lens which I truly love on my K5II camera, here's the thing
it works great but when I slip the clutch focusing ring to manual I can't manually
focus the lens unless I turn the switch on the body first, taken off the focusing
rubber ring it seems to have lost one of the screws to hold what looks like a
bar in place which in turn goes back and forth to release the focusing, would
anybody have a screw for that.
Thanks

 17.
Hi Floyd,
Thanks for getting back to me and filling me in on what works or not with the Rollei.

Clark

 18.
Hi all,
I'm new to this thread, but been hovering a bit here and there. So after reading a few threads
on the Rolleiflex 6000 series cameras I purchased on a nice (I hope) 6002 camera and Charger.
I did not get a lens yet but been looking for a 80mm f2.8 either a early or if I can a PQ version,
which I'm not sure I could use and that's the question could I use the PQ version without damaging
the camera, I know there a bit old but aren't we all using a lot of old camera's out there because we
just love these little guy's.

Thanks
