  1. Bad new's today, the seller cancelled the sale because get this the high fees of ebay, so he relisted it for more money within 15 minutes. My Leica search continues!
  2. Hi all, I was on the auction site and purchased a Leica M8 it went pretty low, not surprised I purchased it from someone in France it seems of late you can get good buy's from over there. I just didn't want to spend $3000.00 dollars U.S. for a M6 for me it doesn't pay I don't process my own film and where I live I don't have any place that does film except NYC which is a $20.00 round trip Doh! I've seen pictures and they look good plus I have a Voigtlander 35mm F1.4 lens waiting for it. Thanks
  3. I don't know if this counts but I just got, and EOS1DS and it's really nice, a brick but it's still good and only 44,000 shots.
  4. Taking with my new to me EOS1DS and EF 35mm F2 lens.
  5. It's the original 1DS they don't have parts for it anymore.
  6. I need the top pc terminal plug that's on the right side of the camera.
  7. Hi all, There was a gentleman in New Jersey who did a Canon Repair on digital camera's, but I lost the number and address. Would anyone have it? It wasn't Canon it was an independent company. Thanks You
  8. I just purchased a EOS1DS for a great price on ebay, just received it yesterday and it's really nice. It's heavy but with the 24mm f1.4L II it's really good. I also found the old EF 35mm F2 lens, the seller said the camera didn't focus and he was right when I received it. I opened the rear of the lens and carefully adjust the guide bracket and fixed it, not bad for $69.00 U.S..
  9. Hi all, Looking to buy the top terminal cover for a Canon EOS1DS, If someone has one or knows a place where I could order one, would be great. Thank You
  10. Hi all, I just picked up a great deal on a 1DS and would love to find the top terminal cover for it, I emailed two places so far but it's early so they most likely would not answer till tomorrow. So would any of you guy's know of a place that would have it?. My last resort would be to get a broken body and get one from but for know I'm for just the part now. Thanks

  13. I don't have big sur in my mac, thank you
  14. Hi all, I posted here as well, I'm having trouble downloading the new firmware, either the computer doesn't see the camera or the file is corrupted, HELP! Thank you Clark
  15. Hi all, I picked up a Sony A7 mark II and want to download the new firmware. I use a mac and it doesn't want to work, either it doesn't read the camera or say's corrupted files, it's driving me nuts! HELP! Clark
  16. It's still a great camera, I purchased a few Minolta and Sony lenses at great prices and there really sharp and the camera focuses on the spot. I did have a Canon 5D Classic and wasn't happy with the lenses.
  17. Hi all, I've been using the 7D and it's really good and those Minolta lenses are really great, but I would like to know what you guy's or Gal's use to download your Raw files into I don't think the Minolta is around and the Apple Photos which I do down load into really doesn't make these raw file's shine if you know what I mean. Thanks
  18. I sent it back, I purchased it on ebay and the listing said working, so it protected under the their protection plan. I just received a Minolta 50mm f1.7 and it's really nice little soft wide open but closed down nice and sharp.
  19. It's fine, I did pick up a Minolta 7D and put the lens on that camera and it works great no problem, it's something with the A700 camera, just think I spend $19.95 for the 7D and $250.00 for the Sony A700 goes to show ya.
  20. Hi all, Well my Sony A700 experience wasn't to good (bad focusing), so on ebay there was a Minolta 7D camera for $19.95 for bid and it looks like it went though the ringer and I won it. When I received it there was glue on the control knob on top and back button for the memory and ISO button, When the battery recharged the camera did turn on but the ISO and memory screen would come on and off the screen. So I removes the back panel and had to clean the buttons out, put it all back together and it all worked and takes pretty nice pictures to boot, it really tells you the quality of the Konica/ Minolta camera's after all these years laying around it still works. Here's some pictures of the finished camera. and all my cleaning stuff.
  21. I think that's what it is too, I'll send it back and look for another one. Thank you
