Interesting indeed...I like the tonal range in the photo. The white paper with black words stand out clearly among the dark background. Certainly grabs your attention.
Why not "History of Poverty"?

Excellent Pose...And wonderfully presented.

Sorry I am late to the discussion. The USM from what I can tell works OK for me. But, the true test of the USM would be to see a large print.
There is however a significant blue cast in the print (most noticable in the highlights in the water).
The composition of the photograph is excellent and so is the exposure. Overall a superb photo IMHO.

Leading lines created by the tire tracks and snow banks, warm tones in the snow, Great colors in the sky and a good exposure makes this one of your best works yet.
My only suggestion would have been to leave a bit more room on the top over the middle tree in case someone wants to frame it.
And Merry Christmas to you too...

And Happy Holidays to you too...

Despair....That is how see her pose as. Artistic representation indeed.

I agree with Pnina a bit too much on the creative side...but that is what defines Paula's work. :-))

Nice exposure on this one. I am glad to see that you did not place the bridge in the center.

Nice shutter speed...I would have included the a bit more of the arch.

Thank you all for the comments on this photograph.
Rajeev: I used 0.4s (F13) Shutter speed for this photograph.

Looks like. Giant Eye balls in space...or perhaps peacock feathers. Very imaginative...:-))

This is incredible. If the Lighthouse digest does not publish this, then they are missing something special!!! I love backlit photos of water and mist.

I vote for full frame version as well. What I like about this photo is the geometric designs formed by the fountains in the foreground.
Love the new Bio Pic...

This one has some awesome colors in it.

Very nice perspective of Blue Hen Falls...I have climbed down there in Winter and there are numerous photo opportunities once you are down there. Good work Walter.

Reminds me of irradecent colors in a peacock feather...Nice abstract.

Looks like a fall baby...Nice tones and details in the photo. I am surprised she did not try to eat some of the leaves. :-)))

What's there to critique...This is a perfect execution and a beautiful shot. The textures and the colors in the sky are superbly balanced. Excellent photo.

This is an interesting shot...I wonder what happened next? Which one got the lunch. LOL!!

This shot was taken on the riverside walk on the way to the enterance to the Narrows. There were many such secnes along the way if you wandered of the beaten path a bit. Glad you liked the photo.
