very nice. not sure i like the halo around the finger, though.

now that's some curls!

unusual photo. love the colors, obviously, but i think the little beak jutting out is a great touch. well done.

very nice. If you hadn't made the comment about the photoshopping, I probably wouldn't have noticed it. stunning image overall.

Wow, Peter, this is stunning. Very nice and despite what others might say, I like the drop shadow.

I like this crop much better than the full-size version. Keeps it simple, yet makes it feel larger than it is because it fills the frame.

Twice over. Your entire portfolio is stunning, and this is just a fantastic photo. I just had to go read your biography because your photos are, IMO, very saleable images. Get yourself an agent and start making some money with what appears to be much more than a hobby for you.
I have never rated a photo a 10 on photo.net, and very very few nines. For my taste, I'd prefer a sepia tone or just monochrome versus the red toning. Still, very very well done.

interested in your thoughts.

great catch

great composition.

great juxtaposition. file is waaay too big.

tree branches lower right distract. chairs upper left distract. interesting idea, but it doesn't do much for me personally.

light spot in background hold this photo back a bit. also, not sure what it is, but the subject flower looks a bit flat. maybe a bit of reflector to give the face of the flower a little life?
-
have you tried this in B&W? maybe a bit too much contrast here? also, i'd crop out the background on the right to go in close and tight on the faces.
-
interesting. i'd edit out the little squiggle on the left and maybe tone down the light spot on the bottom. my eyes were drawn there immediately. nice use of light and shadow and well composed.
-
well exposed/printed - great shadow/highlight balance/detail. well composed - balanced (maybe just a skoosh more to the left to get the foreground rock more centered in reflection gap). overall, a stunning, stunning image. this, IMHO, is very very very close to fine art quality.

i've heard it said that all photographics are neurotic in that it's the painters that can't paint that turn to photography. i don't agree, but you gotta love technology! very nice interpretation.

nice eye for triangles.

tonal range looks gappy, what kind of scanner are you using or is this an intended effect?
-
great colors and how you placed the forms in the frame. i like the choice of black as matte also. only thing that takes away is the dirt instead of grass - i guess no time to plant seed and wait, huh? ;)
