When this chair is finished it would be clear like glass. A warmer than usual Feb. made short work of these pieces of ice art. The date in the 'details' is wrong due to my old (10 years now) & ailing Canon A540 reverting to it's default date of 1980 each time I turn it on now. We didn't even have digital cameras in 1980 did we? Thanks for your visit. Best, Len.

That's why I didn't wait around for her to finish. :-) Best, Len.

Skill? Oh, I don't know, she simply carves away the parts that don't look like a chair. How hard can it be? To all who don't know me, Kidding! Thanks for your time & comment. Best, Len.

Cheltenham Badlands

It's been said that my best work is behind me. :-) Thanks for taking the time to go digging through these oldies. This is a popular and interesting location to photograph. Should go back sometime. Best, Len.

Always great to get a visit & comment from you. Thanks! Best, Len.

This artist was taking part in Collingwood's Ice Festival. The finished product was likely much more impressive but this was the state of it when I happened by. Thanks for your visit & interest. Best, Len.

Trees 'R Us !

Trees! What else could they become? :-) And Babies R Us is already taken. (& likely trademarked) There is indeed beauty in trees. Best, Len.
9. While both shots are very sharp I like the rich warm colours in this offering. The warm foreground contrasts nicely with the cooler sky area. Mark makes a valid point about the vignetting. A light hand is required here. Easy fix though. Best, Len.

Jog - on

Damned deer! Spoiled a perfect shot of a 'jog in the fog'. :-) Always a treat to see what you have come up with. Best, Len.

Trees 'R Us !

This would likely be a familiar scene to you. I did crop this one to a square format. Just seemed to work better. Thanks for your thoughts. Best, Len.

Trees 'R Us !

Yah, new idea for tree decorations - hang carrots! Cheaper too! :-) Always good to hear from you. Thanks for taking the time. Best, Len.

Trees 'R Us !

The colour and size of the cones prompted this one. Tough to beat nature's combos. Shot from a nice warm dining room the day after Christmas & through a window to boot! I thought it was worth a frame or two. You've just validated that decision. :-) Best, Len.

Trees 'R Us !

Thanks for your take on this one. Was hiding it for a few months. Lack of new work prompted me to go diggin'. :-) Best, Len.

16.
Robert, Start by posting photos that please you. Others will see them and perhaps give you their view as to how to improve them. In time you will develop a style with technique and subject matter to judge your progress by. At that point you'll have opinions based on experience to pass on to others. And so it goes................! Good luck. Best, Len.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Truly, a grab shot. Sometimes we get lucky. Best, Len.

Parking Boss

Perhaps I should have opened up the shadows a bit. Then you could see the dampers right there under the near side front wing. (American auto remember) :-) Thanks for your visit & input. Best, Len.
20. 'Because there was too much poo on the grass, camera right'. I would have invested a bit of time and a few frames here myself. Watch your step Mari, could be slippery on that path. :-( Best, Len.

Parking Boss

It would seem that your Saturday mornings are spent much like I spend mine, computer & Photo.net. Yah, this parking attendant wasn't the least bit intimidated by all the trucks, large or small. He was the boss & they all respected that. I saw this shot unraveling and had time for only one quick frame. I liked the contrast, smallish boy, large truck. I tried it in B&W but it needs the blaze orange vest to draw the eye & for impact. Thanks for your quick response. Best, Len.

I prefer your original post to the monochrome version. Don't apologize if you are acquainted with more than one language. I speak only one language & still have trouble expressing my meaning. :-( And don't let anyone deter you from experimenting and learning. That's part of the joy of photography. Best, Len.
24. The initiation of a 'menage á trois' perhaps? :-) Fill flash saved day. Best, Len.

Or, 'Tenacious'! Nice way to isolate your subject, by using shallow DOF. The 'rule of thirds' is satisfied too! The background provides echos of your subject. I would like to see a bit more contrast (darker background) which would aid in isolating your subject even more. Many (all?) of your posts exhibit heavy doses of HDR. You might want to lighten up on the use of that feature. If the shot LOOKS like it's been manipulated then the application is likely too heavy. Don't mind me, just one opinion. :-) Best, LM.
