My first thought when I saw this was of a dance in a golden ballroom! I see my comment is not original... For me their feet tell the story - there is some real tension there. Very eyecatching image! - Aina -

Apart from the fact that this is an extraordinary shot, what I really like here is the contrast between the sharpness of the lightning blot & the softness of the clouds. It makes for a really stunning contrast. The city lights also complement the lightning bolt... This is one of those 1 in 100,000 shots! - Aina -

Interesting & unusual pose here - caught in a moment of instability. What I really like here is that you can see the bird's plumage in such nice detail - probably would not see this so much in flight. - Aina -

So much to love about this photograph. The detail of the plumage, but also the color palette is lovely. That blue background highlights the blueness of the bird's beak beautifully. Gorgeous. -Aina -
