vincentoiseau 83 Posted April 11, 2021 Hi Giangiorgio, you have chosen a simple composition for this scene, in which this little egret is cleaning her feathers. I like this focus on a typical bird habit; you have used the beautiful light optimally for showing something that is essential for this species, without any embellishment, because it doesn't need any. Well done! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

michaellinder 16,613 Posted April 14, 2021 Giangiorgio, the bird's posture must make humans jealous, since its neck appears much more flexible. As always, you captured this feature at exactly the right time. Also, the image portrays another aspect of bird anatomy that gives (most of) them the ability to stand on one leg only for comparatively longer durations. I'm quite impressed by the detail in the feathers, which clearly reveals the several patterns. In closing, I always feel privileged to view your work; this image is no exception. - - My best always, michael Link to comment

puce 1 Posted April 23, 2021 So much to love about this photograph. The detail of the plumage, but also the color palette is lovely. That blue background highlights the blueness of the bird's beak beautifully. Gorgeous. -Aina Link to comment
