A number of years ago the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh hosted a Dal Chihuly art glass exhibit - where his works were incorporated into their hothouse. A really interesting experience. Made you realize how organic his extraordinary pieces of art glass -

What I really like about this image is how you have captured why the mantis camouflages so well with the plant - it is not about just color. The serrations on the leaves channel the uneven features on the lower legs of the insect. This is the really cool part of the image for me. The fact that it has been so skillfully photographed to elicit this reaction cannot be understated. -Aina -
I like how you have presented the back of the flower - something that everyone forgets about. This view helps us really focus on the esthetic of the raindrops - which have beautiful detail in of themselves. Gorgeous image. -Aina -

The upper-level of this metro station channels the Musée des arts et métiers - the tinkerer & scientists paradise with lots of gadgets, instruments & the current home of Foucault's pendulum. -
This is a truly amazing temple in Kyoto that has 500 Buddhas inside & is decorated with gold leaf from the outside. This was shot last century with film & negative... imaged has been scanned in Photoshop. I recall using 400 ISO Fujicolor film... -

Interesting thought Patrick. Have never seen this before except for this building in Quebec city. I love Gehry's forms - particularly that EMP Museum in Seattle... took lots of photos of that one. Have a couple of pics in my stream. -
